if theres one thing txt will keep reminding yeonjun is that he is 'old' when he is truly not. they keep reminding him that hes born in the 20th century and theres a generation gap despite, being born in 1999. 2 years away from the 21st century, (yes soobin is also part of the 20th century).

to be fair, 2 of the NewJeans members (and Woonhak too) should not be idols. Your not old, their too young and it's basic child exploitation. It's not that their untalented, it's that their too young to properly consent to having full time jobs in the public eye. They can never take that fame back now. I'm really enjoying the new boygroup RIIZE though, it's nice to have adult idols for once.

@@babycakelings i can't even disagree. Even as commoners, my struggle basically less and less compared to idols and it was still overwhelming to the point it's traumatizing the more I realize it. Going in mid 20s and finding out I don't know about myself as much as I think, cannot eliminate expectations that will end up damaging for long term, and also being easily exploited by anyone due to lack of life experience. Entertainment industry is not a good place to grow up. Sure you'll get the fame but at what cost? Not to mention this is 2023, we don't know how much these people (both celebrities and their behind the scene staffs) are actually well-paid.....

Am i the only one who is not comfortable with these jokes? like i get it's just a joke but man is just 24 years old and that's YOUNG. Ageing is not something to be shamed on or be embarrassed of it but in kpop its exactly like that it actually needs to be changed if y'all wants minors to not debut. And what annoys me more is that some moas making fun of his age like seriously? with txt it can be fine becuz they r super close and know each other limits but fans have no right to make fun of it cuz he is not yall friend. Tbh yj is an easy going person and whenever they tease him he has a comeback ready but when they tease him about the age he just looks embarrassed. I would just request moas to stop teasing him about the age.
