Honestly I think they should go beyond that, start buy how many months the child was in the Womb, and as it comes Out, simply CONTINUE the rest of the months and years as it grows.

I think its because most of the time you can't exactly pinpoint exactly when the mom is pregnant also, side note: if we started aging people based on when they start growing in the womb, i feel like the arguments about abortion and everything would be a lot more intense. (Note: i didn't want to make this political at all but i feel like thats what would happen)

I think Abortion should be with Purpose, not just mere Welp I'm preggos and ready to throw the baby away, that's why they say be Verry careful what you do by your Own choices... now then if it was through Abuse, Trauma based, or Forced pregnancy, then again, Ofc that should be up yo thr mother of said child. And Help with Proper decision making than just Offing the unborn child. Sort of like a Parenting class, but more so psycho Therapy and Upliftment in maturity and Healthy choices for each New or on coming/potential Mom.🥺😊💜🫰🏽

Some countries count birthdays from conception. My family did 3 month birthday cakes for all of us kids as one year from conception it was fun but then we just celebrated regular birthdays after that.

I dead think the reason they don’t count those 9 months is because those 9 months is what we use to develop in our mothers bodies. Because once you find out your pregnant it’s literally not even alive yet, and when we find out the gender we’re already 18 to 21 weeks (correct me if I’m wrong) this is because it’s easier to tell. Once the child is fully developed and ready to be freed from the womb it will start its aging process. Now if we did count it our birthdays would be on the day we are born ofc but we would also have one on the day our parents found out they were pregnant 😭
