This album just hits me a different kind of way. Is this your favourite TXT album? or is there another one that has your heart? Minisode 3: Tomorrow really is such a good example of how much their vocal and stylistic range has grown but also their ability to put so much emotion and feel into their vocals. I got teary eyed because of your comment before listening to Quarter Life. I’m almost 23 myself and pursuing my Master’s degree at an area I don’t even see myself working in the future. But I don’t have other options besides this since I dedicated half of my life to this and I am not interested in anything. I don’t have any friends or partner that I can share my feelings. People I was close already have their own families and kids, we do not even talk right now. My family won’t understand me. I just don’t want to do anything. It’s the time of the life that I question everything I do and it all seem meaningless…

Aww lovely…thank you for opening up and commenting. Can I say I 10000% understand how you feel. I also have a lot of close friends that are on paths now that we never would have predicted when we were in university. I have my bachelors degree hanging on my wall that I never used. While it’s a really crappy feeling questioning choices that seem to directly impact the future and it’s so much pressure to have on one’s shoulders. So feeling like you do is completely normal. Don’t let anyone who doesn’t get it minimise your feelings or situation. You’re valid in your feelings. From my experience, I whole heartedly believe experience is the best teacher in navigating what you want to do, and how you want to live your life. Maybe while you study (and I know it’s really hard with such a time consuming degree) but just do random activities when you have time, or see what you already like to do? Like if you like kpop and find Korean interesting, maybe learn the language? If you enjoy it, that may be a career pathway to look into. Finding local clubs or uni groups with similar interests can also introduce you to similar people with similar situations where you can be each others strength etc. you might have already tried these things but hopefully there is some thing that inspires you or makes you happy. Cheer up!!! Let me tell you my story to! I give up on my study after graduating high school and working as a cashier for 4 year, in my 5 year working i lost my mom in a pandemic, at that time i live in other country so a cant be there on her last breath... it was such a hard time for me, and no one comfort or even understand me. I quit my job becouse i think maybe the only thing i need is "doing nothing" for a while... but it's just feel more depressing!!! There is no right answer, and avoidingbit maybe not a right answer to.

Quarter Life really got Me, & it still does everytime someone reacts to it, Because no matter what stage in life the listener is in, it either speaks to what they currently are going through, reminds them of what they went through, or braces the listener for what they potentially may face, TXT are an irreplaceable group, They truly have their finger on the pulse, This album is so amazing♥♥

I've listened to this album many times now, and only now did I fully read the lyrics of quarter life crisis.. I'm on my 40's now but somehow I still felt I'm still at a crisis now, I felt like I'm stuck and still at a lost..

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It can be such a whirlwind of thoughts and feelings. I’m at the point in my life and age where I wonder if people actually ever stop feeling like they are stuck or at a loss. I’m coming more to believe that society has built this false idea that we become a certain age and all of a sudden we have it all figured out. We all know how to do our taxes to get a return, we know how to raise kids but also have a full time job while keeping the house spotless, go to the gym and making homemade healthy meals three times a day. Or even we need to be married and own a house by a certain age. I think out of every goal we, our parents, society have given ourselves, being happy isn’t one of them, it has always relied on possessions or status. I hope you’re able to pin point the things that make you happy and work back from there. I know sometimes even just finding that happiness in the first place is the most difficult challenge. But I believe you got this. You are so much stronger than you might feel or realise at the moment. But step by step. You’re amazing for living your life, that’s something to be proud of! @@tracy4jester I've been singing it's Korean lyrics before, never looked up the English lyrics before, i cried when I read the lines of this song.. somehow this song gives us inspiration "don't know where to go, but keep walking, even if it's dark right now, walk through it like wandering," this is my fave line of the song.. thank you so so much for your kind words and encouragement, I will keep your words in my heart and mind ❤️. i really appreciate your comment before quarter life :( i also have asian parents that always told me to not have a boyfriend until i've graduated but they expect me to be married and have kids someday. the thing is, i'm bisexual, or maybe a lesbian and i'm just indenial that i don't like men? i don't really know my parents' stance about topics like this so i don't plan to come out. it's very hard because i'm scared of men and i don't really want a child in the first place. i don't see myself being a parent but because my grandmother wants to see me have a child i feel so guilty. my friends are younger than me and all of them have happy relationships while i'm here not even thinking about my love life. i stopped studying for a few years so i'm behind my peers. they say everyone has their own path and life is a marathon, not a race. i get it. but when i see that the people around me are younger, i can't help but feel small. they're all going through their lives in the right age i should be doing something more but why am i still here? the lyrics "don't wanna say i fcked it up" hit me so hard because i said it to myself too many times. i really did fck it up. i'm still gonna pull through but all these pressures and expectation is messing me up so bad. these thoughts are always in my mind but there are days that it becomes unbearable so i just think of you know... but that would be very unfair to my mom that did everything to raise me.

do you know what everytime i feel like give up something i do in my life txt lyrics and songs brings me up may be it may don't have bass loud bgms but the peacefulness and the lyrics tell my soul "hey wake up you're just 18 you've many things to do in your life " and I'm on my way to achieve a big thing even if life is against my decision 🙃

I'm sorry I don't have a lot to say in response to you pouring your heart out for us before "Quarter Life," but please know that I was grateful and happy to listen. I agree that I think this is my favorite TXT album. If it were a full-length album and not a mini album, it would be the thing that puts TXT on my list of "favorites of all time" tbh. Edit: I thought it might make you smile to know that I once had a student whose name is written with the same characters as "gai" from "ikigai." Pronounced "Kai," though, when it's not part of a compound word.

As a gay guy with an Asian background ..I already open to my family... It is so struggle cause my family just give a grandkids instead ...but back of my mind it will be painful that my child will be ridicule especially the society we are living
