Many of the JAAA members should immediately, and without question step down or be fired, especially the Wilson guy. I think they blocked the young lady on purpose. It seems that the JAAA are selecting athletes out of ‘friendships’ or ‘links.’ It is Sad that those given high positions, even in the sporting arenas are choppas!!

Get rid of JAAA. It seems like something fishy is going on within the organization as it is. How else can one explain why Wilson is so entrenched even though he continually gets in the way of Jamaica maximizing our medal hauls at major championships. He constantly cause distractions, controversies, and psychological disruptions for our athletes. Now, as if to add salt to the wound, he’s named head coach! Head coach? How did he get that? What’s his qualification? How did he get to even being principal of G C Foster College? Something REALLY FISHY is going on here! Get rid of the people keeping this nightmare going!

Brianna Williams is one of the best lead off in women's 4x100M, even mentioned by some US coaches. Considering that she has the experience, why not use her, then again we're talking about the JAAA's!!

I don't know what they have against Bree. She ran that first leg so fast in Tokyo that she almost crashed into Elaine. Kemba Nelson got smoked at the World Championship on her leg and cost us the gold. She went to the Commonwealth Game and repeated her performance. Elaine had to find an extra gear to get Jamaica on the podium. Since then I have concluded that they didn't like Breanna Williams.

@@naaman.stewart7909 Some athletes are relay runners, Cherokee Young, TT Terry, Brianna etc, once they have a baton in hand, they become a beast. It's not always the fastest 4 who win, US does not put the 4 fastest, it's who are better relay runners.

NO SURPRISE HERE!! This is a LONG STANDING DISGRACE from JAAA's! They constantly bumped Athletes from the team, in order to accommodate additional "officials" & their spouses, instead of adding as many athletes as possible to gain necessary experience.

She was not left off the team according to I heard. Clunnis has her spot and is ranked 27th from 32. The problem is that she was not registered and the deadline for that has passed Now every stop has to be pulled out for her to be registered. If a late fee is to be made JAAA DO IT!

I feel badly for her. I’m always talking about house cleaning over there at the good ole boys club of the JAAA, but who are they going to put in place, anyway? It’s a culture of slackness over there. Aren’t the elections coming up soon? Can we get new, reputable, reliable, credible, competent leaders next time around ❓You know, people who actually have our athlete’s wellbeing at heart, and not politics and cronyism and links🤔

some of us are too biased. A lot of people developed a dislike for Kemba being on the team ever since she was chosen to run a world champs relay final over Brianna. The truth is she performed just as well as Brianna on that relay leg. she wasn't the one with the worst leg and her change-off was the cleanest but because she is not as popular as others she;s going to continue to get the blame. Jamaicans don't like to analyze they like to pick their favorite side and jump to conclusions.

The difference is that her place was RE-allocated by world athletics and the 32 slots are gone. If someone pulls out a place will open up. The relays are quite different. She was ranked 29th I believe. It is not spite it is GROSS INCOMPETENCE.

World Athletics states that the relay pool that is officially eligible for medals is 5. Adding other athletes is just a thing that allows for late injuries up to a certain date.

I’m at this point asking not withstanding but in spite of and nevertheless…. “Who advised BL to culminate her season”? Not disregarding her personal health but was this the best decision knowing that she had plenty of time to manage her challenges and therefore could have entered her first Olympic and get herself and Jamaica 🇯🇲 gold in the 4x100 at least.

This should not have happen, we know all the events that our althetes will be participating in and the athletes who should be participating in the different events. Hence, no one should be left off. I personally believe it should have been Brianna Wilson, who was added. She never fails in her start when it comes to the relay.

Why is the JAAA still allowed to be this incompetent in decision-making? This seems like a deliberate act of maliciousness towards this young lady! How is it you have field events and winners but you forget to add the winners of one of the events you hosted? Very troubling and sad: this young lady worked her ass off to make the team, qualified, yet not on the team. Wilson is on the team though - as head coach at that! I don’t know if he has WORKED HIS ASS off for anything; but I’m sure not for athletics! So, I can’t understand why his selection to Jamaica’s team is automatic even though it’s clear that that man is a detriment to our athletes performances?

Briana barely made it out of the preliminary heats. She would have been dead last in the finals if Natasha didn't require medical attention at the start.
