What can I say? I'm a sucker for childhood BFF's to lovers. Throw in the fact that I read these books as a teenager and I was SOLD. spoilers below
Based on the books, I'm 90% positive that the other passenger is going to be Annie. Scared? Yes. Excited for the angst it could bring? Also yes.

Ty and Annie stole my heart, I love their bond and build up and thank you for this video, the song choice made everything even sweeter, I loved it 💕 PS: Annie is in the car accident in the books? Poor girl but yes for angst and more of these two!!

Not in a car accident, but Annie spends a significant portion of time recovering from a hospital stay in the second book, and it’s a catalyst for a lot of plot! So, I think they will have her be in the car 👀

Seeing her with Someone else rly got to him and I kinda live for it. There relationship kinda reminds me of Andie and josh from foursome they aren’t rly together but seeing them with other people makes them see that they rly like each other and the guys gf can tell that he likes her but the girl can’t

Yes! In the books, she has two really important girl friends that help her through a lot. She also has a solid relationship with her dad. Would love to see more of that on the show.

ok so my unpopular opinion as well. lemme just say BIGGEST SHIP is annie and ty… but I think annie is going to be in the passenger seat possibly and ty is going to realize that he likes her. BUT… she ends up dating jackson while ty is still with Cece, when they secretly like each other. He confesses he likes her when she’s unconscious and Cece hears? But ignores It because obviously she likes Ty and they end up getting together the last episode of season two like every other show. But I alsooo think there is a possibility Ty was in the passenger seat try to calm Kyle down and by getting in this accident, there goes his baseball career making his mom feel bad for disagreeing with him to play baseball before college now that he can’t ever play again.(or like some long recovery time and it’s difficult) •

I'd say start with book two, because it features important storylines for Annie and then go from there. The fifth book is all about them but it's set a few years into their twenties/adulthood.

Well during the second book Annie struggles with an eating disorder, so bad that she has to be hospitalized for awhile. So a lot of people are saying that she is going to be in the car that crashed and that will be why she’s in the hospital in the show. Her and ty date through the end of high school and are like totally in love 😍, wanting to plan their futures together. Then Ty gets drafted by the Bruins which is Coach Cal’s former baseball team in Atlanta I think. Which is his dream and then you find out that Ty and Annie broke up. Ty got swept up in all the celebrity that comes with being a pro baseball player and cheated on Annie....not once....not twice....but just straight up whored around. Cause of all these baseball groupies and blah blah. Of course Annie finds out (it hits the tabloids) and so does the entire town, she is heartbroken 😞. Jump to three years later and they are still broken up and Ty has a kid from one of the baseball groupies but slowing he and Annie fall back in love. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Maria Barreiros you are welcome!!! I really hope that if they follow that story in the show like having them date in high school then break up/time jump, that they won’t break up because he cheats. Because that was honestly the worst after the cheating that happened in Annie’s parents relationship and Ty’s parents relationship, I just find it unlikely that he would cheat on Annie. I’m down for that story cause of the angst, but I would want them to write another reason for a break up between them!

Sparkling Glass yeah and since ty got so sensitive with his dad cheating that he didn’t like noreen at all so it would be unlikely to him to do the same. I guess it would be better if they broke up because of college itself and when they got back to town they would fall in love back. it would be a lovely mix of maddie and hellen histories. And after some time, they would have a kid OOOOOOOOR they broke up because of college but then Annie discovers that she is pregnant but don’t tell him and when they meet again, Ty see the boys and gets upset about what happens and she explains that she did it because it was his dream and she didn’t want him to give up of it and then they kiss and get back together with date and everything else
