@@dianevrules I wish I still had my 2000!! I had a 2000 in 2000. Produced a song for Kobe Bryant with it for Columbia records. Kobe brought me 2000xl when I got to LA! I have the Live and Live 2. Just sold a 5000 bout a month ago.

Started with the 2000, then moved to the 1000 (JJ.OS integrated with Reason ). After that I used Logic and FL for some years but I had to come back to that workflow so I grabbed the X. But really wanna see what that LIVE 2 is about atm...

Missing out. I feel the same way about the popular software daws...but the MPC brings a more organic way of working and makes you work from a different workflow. Other options yes, but the MPC is a lot more intuitive like you said. You trying to do something there's some way to get it done. Limitations are not limitations when you use audio effectively.

Arguable by definition. If there was any 16 pad based sampler or controller what would come to mind first and what would the MPC try to be like? As far as being intuitive I would expect other things to be like the MPC first...the 16 pads should be velocity sensitive, they should have a 16 level behavior, it should have a screen, you should be able to chop samples.
