Thanks for your time Ty ! I have 2 XRAY XT8E kits to build , so watching your vids has been helpful for tips and tricks . I don’t use facebook ; if you know of any other video sources that teach about building XRAY kits please let me know . Iam trying to learn as much as i can before i start the builds so that they go smoothly .

Great video! May i ask low rebound vs high rebound how will this effect the handling of the buggy? Zero rebound for Truggy? Thank you Craig

Ty, I really enjoy your videos. I do have one small recommendation regarding the shock build video. I think the most important phase is the shock oil / bleed and final outcome ( rebound / compressions goals and why. Maybe you have a video explaining your strategy about oil weight, spring, bladder or no bladder, rebound or not based on conditions. I would love you to get more technical on this topic. thanks again

Hi..the zero rebound we need to push the shaft completely into the body shock then close the cap?..is that right??..because its says in Xray Xb8 manual...if want to rebound just push the shaft 50% or 100% into the body shock..right???...or im wrong??..please help..because if i run rebound my buggy always slam the ground when i jump bump..like it not absorb the impact..i need to run zero rebound because you also not often using rebound than zero rebound..🙏🙏🙏🙏

I have built my xb8e 19 shocks and the white spacers protrude a mm or 2 from the bottom of the cartridge. I’m not totally happy that they are right. I am Working from a pdf manual and there seems to be updates and conflicting information which white spacers to use. Is it normal to have a small amount poking out?

Hi Ty, for zero rebound it´s possible use "honey shock membrane" or it´s better regular ones like those you assembly in the video. (My Buggy is an XBE 20)

With zero rebound shocks it is definitely better to use the regular ones like in the video, but you can use the black ones or the honeycomb ones to change the speed in which the suspension reacts. The stiffer the bladder the more reactive the car is.

There are so many ways to fill/bleed shocks on KZfaq it's starting to get really confusing. IMO there is no right or wrong way. Seems it's all personal preference. But good explanation on how you do it.👍

why in the rc buggy, the shock setting has to be zero rebound, can you explain, even though we know that slow rebound or fast rebound is mostly used for a 1/1 or other rc car

What pistón for xb8 19 and oil??

Here is a link to a basic setup, shock oil will depend on temperature and the amount of grip, what temperature are you running in? tytessmann.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/xb820-basic-setup-2020.pdf

I hear these zero rebound shocks are good but I am not impressed with the pistons. My Tekno shocks seem better made IMO
