My perception of this song is that a dear freind died and she keeps haveing flash backs on when he died and she kept imagining he was still their. Towards the end she finally let go and she finely can say good byeeeee.

@@NektisNoir i know it was made for the anime, but she isn't the main character the boy is (forgot his name). They never showed any love towards eachouther. Yes they had cute moments, but mine was the one that actually kissed him. Do you have any evidence that shows that it is a match? All the characters show up in the song and they never even say her name in the song. So it's for no one. Yes it was made for this anine, but its just song lyrics how much thought do you think they put into it. You can infer that it was about Akame but i dont think so.

@@brendaasbury3421 Because the ending animation has a huge focus on Akame and the song is about letting go of love (not romance) and emotions which is Akames whole character arc, especially surrounding her teammates and her sister Kurome. And btw, Tatsumi is the main character but that doesn't mean every songs about him. Example: Kirito is the main character of Sword Art Online but ending songs like Overfly and Startear are about characters like Suguha and Sinon
