@@KAISER1691 I would say his talent is not as well known more than underrated.. people that have watched enough of his games know how fkin great he is.. hell klopp wanted him at Liverpool, then Chelsea almost signed him but his physical fell through and injury was worse than thought.. dude is everywhere and could play 180 minutes without slowing down seriously.. im not saying he’s top 20 in world or something crazy but he’s damn good..if he can stay healthy big things to come. This video didn’t even highlight his best attribute of winning balls back, shutting down attacks.

Simply put, if Adams had been healthy for 4-5 more games, Leeds would be in the PL. After his injury, Leeds had the worst defense in the Prem. In one instance, they conceded like 9 goals in a week.

Adams as a pure ball-winner is up there with anyone in the world, but Caicedo offers much more forward progression with the ball as a pivot mid.

Much better than Santos and very fast, plays long range shots, can dribble easily, no backward passes... A typical midfielder that Chelsea need. A better version of kovacic (because he scores and make dangerous forward passes)

Adams won't go to a club to sit the bench, so all these 'please get him, he'd be great depth!' comments are ironic. If that's all he'd be, then you're not getting him.

@@cockoffgewgle4993 He has a release clause, and he knows he can be in the first XI for several Prem and Bundesliga clubs. He's not going somewhere to sit the bench when he has so many other options where he wouldn't, mate. This isn't complicated.

@@CognizantCheddar Do you actually think managers say to players they're signing, "you'll be on the bench"? That isn't the way it works. He'll be part of the first team squad and be competing for 2 midfield spots with 3 other players. And, as there are ~45 games over the season, even if he is 2nd choice he'll get plenty of minutes. And next season, even more, as they could be in Europe. He's also fairly injury-prone and misses games. Most players would much prefer to be a squad player in a top 7 club competing for titles and playing Europe than a starter for a PL club (all of whom are fighting to stay in the league every year). The chasm between the two is enormous. As for the Bundesliga, unless Bayern or Dortmund want him, nobody else is attractive and/or can afford to pay £20mil up front. Leipzig are a joke club with no fanbase, who he already played for. They're a stepping stone club who players don't want to play for. And in the fantasy world where Bayern/Dortmund want him, he certainly wouldn't be a nailed on starter at Bayern (or Dortmund).

@@cockoffgewgle4993 You posted a lot of text, but there wasn't much point reading past your first sentence since it was immediately a faceplant premise. *Players can obviously look at a roster and the pay they're being offered to determine if they're being considered as a first XI player.* Tranferring players do this literally all the time. So, I don't know what point you think you're making. Adams isn't going to Chelsea unless it appears he's likely to slot in as a starter. Again. *This is not complicated.*

No, they don't literally do it all the time. They literally, all the time, move to clubs where there is competition for places because they believe in their own ability and because it's a huge step up in level. eg Kalvin Phillips. eg. Raphinha. Our two big sales a year ago. Why do you think Harry Maguire isn't desperate to join West Ham? Why do you think Richarlison joined Spurs? The examples are endless. Chelski literally have one senior midfielder and you're arguing Adams wouldn't go to Chelski because of the competition to start lmao. He's currently at a team IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP, a team who have done terrible business this window and don't look like being promoted this season.

Tyler Adams is not a destroyer midfielder but he is more hybrid DM/CM like Enzo. Chelsea should buy Edson Álvarez as he is more like a destroyer midfielder compared to Tyler Adams.

He is very much a destroyer midfielder. His strength is winning the ball. He's very neat and tidy on the ball but can't make forward passes or be creative to a high standard. But he likes to press and be on the front foot, rather than just sit in front of the back 4, so he suits a progressive team.

@aungthihawin396 You got it completely backwards, it's Edson Alvarez that is more of a hybrid DM/CM (can also play CB in a pinch but I don't think he's great at it) and Tyler Adams is a destroyer midfielder. In fact, Adams might be one of the best pure destroyer midfielders in the world.
