OU has a better home record than most of the teams they are telling us OU can't win a road game against. But all I hear from SEC fans, is how they are going to waltz in to The Palace, and push us around. We are looking forward to having you all up for a visit, and we can find out.

The eSECpn fan base, for the most part, is a regional group, a cult that has no clue what goes on outside of the cult. Oklahoma's win percentage tops them all except maybe Bama? We've done been to some of their "hardest stadiums to play in" and walked out with W's. We're going be more than fine!

Home and homes OU has played in the past 20 years: Ohio State, Tennessee, Florida State, Notre Dane, Miami, Oregon, UCLA, Alabama. Georgia got cancelled due to joining conference.

OU fans have been looking forward to this for 3 yrs we look forward to the challenge of playing in the best conference in college football we understand to be the best you got to play the best we don't run from the challenge we embrace it folks we know we will compete and be a competitive team that will represent the conference with pride we literally live for this stuff and why Oklahoma is such a natural fit in the SEC I said yrs ago when we flirted with the Pac 10 in 10 that it would be a mistake that culturally we fit best in the SEC I'm glad that fell through looking back all these yrs because we are finally in a Conference WE BELONG IN Boomer Sooner SEC can't wait till the end of August it's right around the corner

I was at the BYU game with my OU wife. I'm a UGA fan....it was nasty weather and the grass looked janky and uncut the whole time. Wouldn't judge much on the play. Except Jackson's audible near the end for the first down I think when he threw to Gibson.

tennessee a bully? Not to Oklahoma, guys. Y'all are slowly coming around, but you still have much to learn my young Padawans. So many eSECpn programs bOUt to find out who the bully is. Like Josh Pate said, many of y'all gonna be finding a new seat on the bus behind Oklahoma. Only a matter of time and OU will be a regular in the top 3 of the conference. Might as well get used to it.

To be fair, butch made a lot of us Tennessee fans, cry too. He was the master of under achievement. Joshua Dobbs is the only reason he kept his job for longer than three seasons.

We will find out for sure in a few months but I can tell you that everyone from the AD to the support staff has done everything in their power for the last 3 years to prepare for this. OU is no stranger to high end college football. Venables and his staff know what it takes to win against the SEC and they have been building a roster to do it. It will be nice to actually play in a league of peers instead of being every little team in the Big 12's Superbowl.

Look at a map……3rd common opponent should be Arkansas…..Norman to Fayetteville is maybe 3 hours ? I believe closet opponent in SEC !

@@stevejohnson6248 Exactly, 3 common rivals for Arkansas would be Texas, A&M and OU. For OU would be Texas, Arkansas and Missouri, and Aggies would be Texas, Arkansas and LSU! All geographically close and then the other 6 SEC opponents each year if they go to 9 conference games in 26 will be all over the league geographically, but at least 3 each year would be fairly close. Who knows what they’ll do, but having Florida as a common opponent for OU would be just weird and nonsensical. Maybe help recruiting in Florida though, ha.

Yes there are some better teams in the SEC than the Big 12. Yes there are some bigger stadiums in the SEC. But its not like OU hasnt played in a lot of big games in big stadiums against rabid fan bases. The lack of respect by the SEC media is border line ridiculous.

Ah I can't wait for when MIZ beats dem boomers this year. Gary Pinkel never had a class rank higher than 35. Every class Eli had outside year 1 (which was a majority of Odoms players) has been 20+. Eli is getting high level talent. OU is gonna be in a world of shock thinking these are the same old tigers they could just walk in and bully.

Gary Pinkel had a team ranked #1 in the country, and a pedestrian OU squad with 3 losses, embarrassed MU at Arrowhead. There has been one consistent factor with MU fans, in my 50 years on this particular planet: No matter what MU is, their fans are convinced they are doing undefeated, EVERY single off season. Nobody is a more consistent off season national champion, than MU. (TBF Texas is close.)

@Tijuanabill yet you fail to mention that as great as Coach Pinkel was, one thing he wasn't was a recruiter. He was more of the Bill Snyder that finds gems to coach up. His schemes got wins, we were never elite in talent. This is the first time where as a Mizzou fan I can say that we have talent on par w/ OU, you combine that with an excellent schene at least offensively (we shall see how Batoon works defensively) makes it so Mizzou is actually a threat for once.

@@shawnkurtz4424 Do you legitimately think his #1 team in the country, would lose to this year's MU? You are higher than giraffe p*ssy, if you think you have a comparable roster to OU. We have either the #6 or #8 roster in blue chip ratio, depending on if you include transfers or not. You lost a LOT last year, and unlike us, you didn't replace it all. You got a new RB to replace Rudy, but that's about it.
