I get your point but by no means is this an American house. Closer to a 16-17th century French chateau, everything from the architecture to the “garden” screams that era. Symmetry was a big thing back then aswell. As it showed one’s power over the land.
@modfus5 ай бұрын
@@PitManenuver Well it certainly is no way a normal "American house". However, I understand it is intended to look like a French chateau - but it really doesn't look authentic - it is almost 'Disney-like' pastiche - that is why I called it a "crazy American house".

He built this on a spot that those of us who went to Lithia Springs High used to go to in the mid-80s. We called it 'The top of the world" because you had to drive down a very long wooded dirt road, with a couple of abandoned semi trailers along the way, and when you reached the open field you could see for miles and miles. Mostly just Fulton Industrial Blvd, but on a clear night, you could see part of the Atlanta skyline. This was before they built the elementary or middle schools. After those were built, there was a gate blocking the rest of the drive up. For a while, you could get by on 4-wheelers. I guess those days are gone. 😢 I can't blame him for wanting that spot though. Very secluded once you get out in those woods. An extremely peaceful spot for sure! Great memories there!

Tyler Perry was homeless at one time and grew up with a lot of physical & sexual abuse. as well as being dirt poor. Higher taxes, a lower paycheck due to the higher tax bracket and an increased task load because "I was a dependable worker" and continued financial hardships, as I often had to choose between paying bills or going hungry. That's it. Hard work gets you absolutely nowhere in life except into the grave quicker. The only reason why they praise hard work, because it's what makes THEM richer, not you.
