This song used to scare me when I was child. To this day it still gives me chills but instead of fear of God… I feel joyful to one day be reunited with him! I still feel somewhat scared lol but now I’m just so touched to one day be with my father.

@@curtisdrummerellerbe9544 why do you fear death? I am afraid as well but not as much as I used to be. I’m more worried or wondering what exactly happens when we die. Do our souls/spirits transition immediately or are we just in limbo? It’s a lot of unknown.

@kroberts1013 That's really my concern. I like to hope it's something like in this video though. Sure it's bittersweet, but to be at peace, confidently knowing you lived your life according to God (The Big Man upstairs, The Most High, whatever you wanna call Him), and that you'll be at peace with Him and your loved ones for eternity makes it less scary. I used to be deathly afraid of even hearing the words "dead" after my great grandma passed, but as I grew older, I understood that is just part of life. My biggest afterlife goal is to get up to Heaven with her, my great grandpa, my mom (who is very much alive right now, but years and years from now, that time will come), my friends who will go before me, shoot my pets lol, etc. It's just a nice thought to have to motivate you to do right with your life and the people in it ya know.

This scene hit me so hard….I lost my mother to cancer and haven’t felt the same ever since…but when I hear this song I just know she’s walking hand in hand with my grandpa smiling…she passed away before I could give birth to her 10 grandchild and my 3rd child….two weeks after she passed I’m being induced to have my 3rd child and I just pray she’s there with me….

I just loss my best friend of 40+ years on 11/07/23. This song is so fitting for her. She fought a good fight, she kept the faith and she finished the race. I know she made it home with our savior. Life is going to be totally different without her.

I LOVE this song! Everytime I hear it, I start crying. It's beautiful and so TRUE! : ) When I first saw this play, my grandma was in the hospital, and it reminded me of that time. My family thought that it was the end of her journey, BUT GOD!!!!!! She's healed and doing much, much better by the help of the Lord. I know that when we all get to Heaven, we're gonna rejoice like there's no tomorrow. No more dying, sickness, diseases, hospitals, graveyards, etc. when we get there. Nothing but JOY!

This year will make 19 years my best friend/Bro was murdered four days after his 20th birthday. I was 19 at the time. I miss him so much til I start to get overwhelmed. We became Bestfriends our freshman year in high school 1999-2000. It’s so much he wanted to do abd it’s a lot he never got to see me do nor be apart. Hold his memories in your heart. Be encouraged.

Lord I loss my mom 5/3/23 and I never knew pain like this but I thank u LORD for such a strong powerhouse of a woman who taught me class and selfworth and to love the Lord thru it all. I'm an oncology nurse who also lost my mom in 1988 to leukemia. This song blindsided me tonight while watching this movie for the first time with my husband. We voth have vuried our parents. He found this link because I am reduced to rubbish as I also feel the angst and the fights of those battling cancer who have lost! I definitely want this at my own memorial.
