I always loved wolf over his other works because its a good in between of his raunchy shock rap that got me into tyler and his newer production focused projects that put him up there w the greats

I felt that the plot of IGOR was tighter and it worked better as a whole. I do say this as a big fan of high concept albums like IGOR though.

Imo Wolf > CMIYGL There's just so much quality on Wolf, narrative wise, sheer vibe wise, and as an artistic standpoint in his career. While CMIYGL was his "I made it" album, Wolf was his transition into deeper projects and much more emotional vulnerability. Subjectivity speaking I prefer it over Igor, but obviously Igor is the better album.

Probably less than 0.5% of albums Fantano gives higher than an 8 and he has reviewed thousands of albums. So a 9 is basically a 10 from him in exclusivity.

@@juju-vl7oj That's not true at all. That would be once every 200 albums he gives an 8 or higher, which isn't the case. And he gives a fair amount of 9's with only seven 10's, so again they're not on the same level of exclusivity

Didn't he rate Flower Boy A Tier and CMIYGL B Tier on his Tyler The Creator Tier List video? What changed? And idc if its the estate sale version there's only a few extra tracks on there and tbh they arent THAT great besides Sorry Not Sorry, I think Flower Boy is def better but overall i agree with Igor winning.

@@MelMelodyWernerI legit was just asking "What changed" I don't see how that's ignoring his opinion, If anything I'm curious on what made him change his opinion. He originally had Flower Boy an entire tier above CMIYGL, It's hard for me to get how Estate Sale suddenly puts that album above Flower Boy and next to Igor when it's literally just a couple throwaway tracks thrown in with CMIYGL. Either he thinks less of Flower Boy these days or he absolutely LOVES those extra Estate Sale tracks lol

@@chikao9532 Idk, I def don't think everyone is a banger, The track with YG is one of the weakest of the entire album IMO, The tracks with ASAP was a little underwhelming and STUNTMAN felt like a banger but from early-mid 00s, It's cool but nothing special. Going back thru both albums, I enjoy them about the same, But the deluxe doesn't really add too much to CMIYGL for me, Like i said, Dogtooth and Sorry Not Sorry are great, But really the only tracks off the deluxe that don't blatantly feel like throwaway tracks.

I love cherry bomb and goblin sm but sadly that and cherry bomb are the only Tyler albums I don’t own on CD/ vinyl due to the fact that my dad listens to Tyler and my mom sometimes plays my cds cassettes and vinyls ☠️

I think Wilshire is boring and not an interesting enough or well rapped enough story to tell over an 8 minute repetitive instrumental. If that song wasn't included I'd have CMIYGL #1. I like Igor alot but think it's slightly overrated closer to an 8 than a 10.

Yeah but back of Goblin is white like Eyehategod Confederacy of Ruined Lives, (which I own on cd) is also white. Few cd casings used white past switch to clear. Promise by Justin Bieber denotably being a more modern release back on the original black not clear cd crystal casings, which makes the record one of the more unique recent cd(s) pressings

Wolf will never be topped imo. Back in 2011-2012 nobody thought that the album was actually coming, but when it finally did, it felt like a really special project. Kind of lost interest in Tyler’s music since then.
