A lot of rap fans complain about how theres a lack of talent in todays artists but most of them dont even listen to Tyler and the only time they did was during the 2011 era when they first blew up. i think some people are not really understanding how tyler is feeling in this song. i love this song,, i listen to it every once in a while,, when i was 4-5 my mom/dad were divorced but i lived with my dad in a literal mansion and we were just really wealthy so i was oblivious of it all but still everything seemed perfect in my life at the moment... my dad met my moms new boyfriend (i'll refer to him as fuckhead) and my dad was obese while fuckhead was in shape. so my dad wanted to impress my mom and he went to mexico to get a surgery to make his stomach smaller,, i guess it went as planned but soon after the surgery he died from a blood clot in his lungs. for the past 8 years i've had to live with my mom/fuckhead which has caused a lot a problems and he never gets along with me or the rest of my family and overall i hate him and blame him for my dads passing

My father was diagnosed with schizophrenia when I was 13 and he pretty much forgot who I am, and became paranoid of who I was. I dealt with him always accusing me of trying to kill him and trying to plot against him. I will cherish the 13 years we had before he got diagnosed with that mental illness. I wish we could of grew old together dad, and I'm sorry for your mental disorder. This song got me through all the tough nights when I would cry myself to sleep because I just wanted my dad back. 😞

I know the main focus of this song isnt the grandma part, but im fucking broken right now and this song is just helling me get through whatever i needed to hear and feel, i havent and didnt want to still cope and feel sad that my grandfather passed. He passed in 2016, yea it has been like 8 years but sometimes there are just things that remind me or spark him in my mind and I just start getting flashbacks of what i remember, this song is old uea but it is now the song I am using to cope and just help through this moment. And many more. If i ever did get a chance to call him one last time, I hope he answers.
