You could say this about any decent split pusher

Obtain better macro, don't play illaoi into him (he's her biggest counter), play basically any other top lane champ (almost all of them beat him, especially after durability update and his recent double nerf), buy tabis and take 12% reduced damage from him from all sources (Q, Auto, Ghouls, and Maiden all get reduced, only E magic damage isn't). Just pick Irelia, Kled, Riven, Tryndamere (if you lose with these 4 atm there's no helping you), Malphite, Ornn, Jax, Kayle, Shen, Urgot, Olaf, Camille, Renekton, Singed, Mordekaiser, Sett, Akshan, Garen, Fiora, Sion, Warwick, Yasuo, Volibear, Maokai, Yone, Gnar, Gwen, Nasus, or Gankplank. They're all favourable into him. Don't pick Darius, Illaoi, Jayce, Kennen, or Vlad, and you'll be fine. Champ is turbo garbage, especially after the nerfs he's the weakest he's ever been. 13.10 is probably a buff for him though.
