This video shows how you can calculate the shear capacity of a reinforced concrete beam. Equations are also derived for how to find the concrete capacity and the capacity from the shear stirrups. The limitations of these calculations are also shown. This is what is used in ACI 318 design procedures for reinforced concrete beams.

Great videos. But isn't the area of (1) No.4 bar 0.2in^2....

Yes! But there are two legs of the stirrup that will cross a shear crack. This means the crack would fracture two bars and so you multiply the area by 2. I think I talk about that in another video.
