Uconnect 5 updates on the Durangos has been a disaster (bugs, broken OTA updates, heated seats don't work on 2nd setting, daily reboots required to keep the radio working, etc). I've been talking to Uconnnect and they committed to deliver with the MY 2021 "what they promised" and anything beyond that well.. "you're vehicle has already been built and we will be focusing on future products". I don't expect another update beyond R17.99 unless they are forced to fix something. I have a Durango Hellcat so it should be comparable to the TRX (both in price/expectations and features/functionality).

@@joesz100 I ordered mine in September but mine is a base model no upgrades so I’m guessing no delays on parts. I also discovered that the 2022 comes standard with remote start, It was the only option I wanted, but the dealership could not add it to the order because it’s standard now.

The option trim level "2" group comes with the passive entry as you describe. The base trim and the level 1 group come truck do not have the passive entry. I am adding the passive entry to my level 1 truck as we speak. Thanks for the view!

So far both of the 22's I have looked at have been more put together then a lot of the 21 trucks that I inspected at the dealership, though the front axle fluid and the transfer case fluid were still low like they have been since the start of the 21's. Thanks for the view!

The seats are different in the new DT body trucks vs. the older DS or DJ body trucks. But I'm not sure off hand on the ventilated amount. I have driven a lot and do think I feel the venting good. Hopefully we will hear from some other level 2 owners. Thanks for the view!

I just got a 2022 and the vented seats will freeze your ass off quickly. On lowest setting is the sweet spot.

As long as the part numbers are ending with a different number on the left and right springs than that means you have the new springs installed. If the springs are the same on the front left and right then yours can get the new springs installed for the lean. Thanks for the view!

I had mine inspected and they had to order two new springs or so they say. One for the front left and rear left. The y came in and they sent the same part numbers as I had already on the truck. They had to send back the front one and get the proper one. In the end they installed the new part order springs and it didn’t change a thing. I’m not so sure Chrysler really knows what they are doing and it’s a shame I had to pay 90k for a truck that has a leaning problem and they just throw different part numbers at it hoping to fix the problem without doing the proper research.

Unfortunately the engine tick is a normal noise for the TRX due to the different exhaust manifolds but hopefully the new software update fixes the radio issues in December. Thanks for the view!

@@TylerPotter what exactly is it that causes the tick? Hemi tick is well known in the ram community. The 5.7 has been shown to be connected to oil type and weight. Please elaborate on your reasoning for a 100k dollar truck to tick...

My 1986 Plymouth reliant 2.2 ticks..

This is Mopar's explanation of the TRX exhaust noise per the Service Information. "The engine/exhaust ticking/rattling/ringing concern customers may report on the TRX is inherent to the exhaust manifold and catalyst design that ultimately helps achieve the 6.2L supercharged engine's horsepower and torque levels. The high level of exhaust flow and pressure, which the exhaust system is designed to withstand under the harshest of conditions, causes this metallic sound especially during a cold start-up. This sound is amplified by the ground clearance and height of the TRX in comparison to other vehicles with the 6.2L supercharged engine. It is considered a normal operating characteristic of this vehicle."

@@courtneyjohnson8815 so far every singe 22 that we have gotten in still has the same 21 springs on them. So they would still need the springs swapped at the dealer if you want the lean fixed.

What do you think of the tow mirrors? I ordered my 2022 with them. But the regular like pretty slick.

I had them on my 2017 and loved them for towing my trailer so I knew I couldn't give them up on my TRX so I just ordered them with my build. I do think the normal mirrors look better but I just tow too often to give up the mirrors.

@@justthisguy1948 Yes you are correct Uconnect for Bluetooth does not need to be connected but if you want to use Apple car play or android auto you have to be plugged in with a USB cable until the new Uconnect 5 came out which is wireless

Hey sup dude did that swap bar on ur 2021 trx fix the lean?im ordered me one for my 21 trx was just curious

@@jonathanburns2214 Yes the Hellwig sway bar from my 2021 TRX did fit my 2022 TRX but I had to drill 3 out of 4 axle mount plate holes. The 2021 had them pre-drilled and tapped. For the 2022 you may have to drill them and use lock nuts on the back side of the axle mount plate. Also I should add that my 2022 does not have the lean like the 2021 did. They fixed that with a different spring on one side so I had to even out the adjustment on the sway bar that I put in on the 2021 to level it. Glad I swapped out for the 2022.

Very interesting? All of the TRX's 21's and 22's have had front sway bars and rear track bars installed from the factory. They also removed the threaded holes from the rear sway bar mount brackets like you said on the later built 21's. Thanks for the view!
