Sometimes I feel like Jess get force into these work out challenge and is just fine I’m doing it my way without judgement! Where Tyler is all about punishing himself for skipping steps yesterday. Mad props to both of them for doing the work outs. I just force myself to do row machine 3 day a week watch Jesse makeup channel 😂🤣😂

I used to do bday and wedding cakes (from scratch) and I have a tip. When your cake has cooled down after the oven and is just a tad warm, wrap it in plastic wrap, then with foil and freeze. When your ready to do the cake, take out if the freezer and ice the cake while it’s still frozen. This method helps the cake retain moisture. I’ve never had a dry cake doing this and they’re amazing.

Bad at sewing? My mom was an expert seamstress. She designed and made custom bridal wear. When I took sewing in school, she was so excited that I would finally find interest in her passion. First few weeks, while using sewing machine, needle broke, flew up in my eye and I was rushed to the ER in a sewing accident. I'll never forget my mom's sad disappointed face walking in. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Real food talk: Jess just mentions something about easy meals and now all I can think about is lemon cappellini and roasted broccoli. Also, vanilla. Ya'll I put that in everything! Smoothie bowls, yogurt bowls, hot chocolate, diet Coke. Seriously, I blow through vanilla!!

The best pie crust recipe: 1 1/2 Cups of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar - mix dry ingredients in pie plate. Make a hollow in the middle of the mixed together dry ingredients and add 1/2 cup of oil and 3 tablespoons of milk. Mix together in pie plate and press out to fit pie pan. No need to pre-bake. Just add pie filling and bake.

Your family has won Vlogmas this year already by Day 4! You have done so many cool Christmasy things with your girls. I miss the days my kids were that age. It's exhausting but when Christmas can be done while watching thru your kid's eyes it's just so magical. On another note, Heros and Villians is now at the Gerald R Ford Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan.... A bit of a drive for you but all those Disney costumes in one place made me think of you

Ahhhh YES. I am not ever going to wake up early to work out. One way I’ve realized, as a mother, that I can prioritize myself and my self care…it’s by getting as much sleep as I need. So no, I won’t be getting up at the butt crack of dawn and subjecting everyone to my cranky attitude and post-workout fatigue. I will be sleeping in and starting my day well rested. 🙌🏼

His neighbor is a really talented contractor and renovated his own basement and when Tyler saw it he said we been trying to figure out what to do with ours for years and I finally realize this is exactly what I want mine to look like too. So the guy is now doing a similar job for Tyler.

Dough enhancer for bread is life changing. It keeps breads (especially while wheat) soft and amazing and light and fluffy for days/week (basically until the bread is gone or it got moldy)

Have you ever tried Mexican vanilla in any of your baking? It’s so good. We get it in Mexico (and it’s really cheap there) but you may be able to find it at a mexican grocery store if you have one near you.

I only use Mexican vanilla in my cooking and baking - when I went to Mexico 10 years ago I brought back at least four 32 ounce bottles. Now since I’ve not gone there since,I will have folks that go there bring some back for me. It’s simply the best!

I’m working out every day with you guys too! And yesss, sore as well 😅 I’m also challenging myself to develop better sleep habits this month and loving that. Our 4th is about the same age as Felicity, so sometimes I can’t control my sleep, but on the nights he sleeps well I want to sleep well too! 😊

Baked cinnamon sugar toast is the best. 350 in the oven. Be sure to watch it. It's done when the sugar is slightly caramelized. Delicious 😋🤤

Yes, the Kaf extract is excellent. It’s no more expensive than Nielsen Massey. You don’t want to skimp on vanilla.

I am a CrossFit Level 1 trainer and this is my workout schedule! I workout 5 days a week: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, off Thursday, Friday and Saturday, off Sunday! I highly recommend that. Thursday is an “active rest day”, for example: a bike ride, a game of tennis, a hike; etc. And Sunday is a total rest day - plop on the couch 😊

Love your Hamilton shirt! Because you guys asked... we have dinner with our 1 & 2 year old at 5:30/6. The 1 year old goes to bed at 7, our 2 almost 3 year old goes to bed at 8 and then we we crash around 10/10:30. But we do wake up at 6/6:30 every day. ❤😊

You could get dry erase tape and stick it on the bottom of your spice bottles to keep track of the expiration dates

I was so hoping you guys would put your fun mugs at your coffee bar and then switch them out like you do . I mean obvi you do you it’s your house and all that🤣 But also I just think anytime you walk past it you’d catch a glimpse of your fun mugs and it would make you happy. I’m a firm believer in having your house work for you and not necessarily doing the aesthetics or instagram perfect thing.

For yummy pies you might want to try Pots & Pans Pie Co. (local to Indy) They do have a sugar cream brûlée pie that is delicious. Their apple pie is also a favorite.
