LOL!! I cannot believe how well Tiny Tyler blends in today! EDIT: Hubby & I legit had tears of laughter rolling down our faces & even had to rewatch the "games segment" due to our own hysterics with the cracker 😂😂!! When I was in my early 20's a neighbor friend of mine and I got together to make gingerbread houses from scratch while our husbands were out fishing. We drank an entire bottle of wine while making them and we had the best time. Our creative juices were flowing and they turned out amazing. Our husbands didn't believe we made them and they wanted to know where we bought them and we're mad and thought we drove drunk to get them. Then they walked into the kitchen and saw the enormous mess and realized we actually made them. They were shocked. Unfortunately it was before cell phones so I don't have any pictures.

My dad was an artist and he made our gingerbread houses out of cardboard so they could be bigger, more detailed and last longer. He did Notre Dame and Union Station in bigger years. He made the holidays so magical.

Totally agree about having games at family get togethers. We always have dominoes on hand because it’s quick and easy to set up/play. But the last several years, we specifically at Christmas try and do 1 or 2 new funny themed games and they’re always a hit.

We have a huge holiday party every year and I am always responsible for planning some of the games. One of our favorite games is a snowball shovel game. You line everybody up at a table and blindfold them. Cover the table with cotton balls. They have a Serving spoon and bowl in their hand. And they have one minute to shovel as many snowballs into their bowl. We also play head, shoulders, knees, and presents.
