I agree. Cesar's whistle notes when he was playing the air guitar in Hell Fire we're amazing as well. I hope they continue to have him do his awesome whistle notes in more videos. He is a force to be reckoned with.

This was intended originally to be a short. Luckily they were having too much fun and it ended as a full length 😅😂🤣🥰 You definitely have to watch it multiple times to even get a grasp of what is happening. It's quickly becoming one of my top 10 Voiceplay songs

There is nothing they don't dare do. They do serious, heartbreaking, intense, and funny and they just master it all. Their bts are always so much fun.

Thanks for your reaction! Yes J None's falsetto and runs were very impressive when you realize he is singing bass with the Navy (his range is terrific!) J None has recently released an original ( "Am I Here")on his channel that is stunning and reminds us that he is also a great rapper and can beatbox as well. We need to show Cesar some love here too as those high whistle notes he was singing were mind blowing as well. Always wonderful to see Layne sing and play violin but he did an amazing job with the editing and effects in this video. This was intended to be a mini which are usually filmed in the mall where their production studio is but Layne took this and ran with it. They have not had their regular camera person since last month so they have used their phones for this one and their Christmas cover as well.

Voiceplay’s videos are often a lot of fun but they just proved they could be an absolute blast stripped down to the simplest possible. And I guarantee if you watch again you’ll see a zillion other things you missed the first time.

They are using a phone simply because the cameraman they had been using moved out of state and they have not found someone new yet. They had to do the same in December. Pretty sure the animals are separately computer-generated, not from an app. Especially since they are not all of the same quality.

Listen for Cesar's new high notes, C6 and D6. Love this and glad that Layne opted to extend it from a mini to over 3 minutes. If you haven't done it yet, look up J None's solo "Am I Here". Superb.

Oh, this was such a hoot! Love seeing them have so much fun with this one, wonder what the other people in the mall made of this (presume they normally do these 'after hours'), but there will be cleaners, security staff, etc. in the background at times! Love seeing Layne get the violin out again for the 'flute' part!

My favourite of theirs ! I had to watch it twice - I got so caught up in watching the animals the first time that I had to watch it again to watch VoicePlay! I've always loved the Tokens rendition of it and the one by Tim Foust and his side project Alley Cats - now I have another to add to my list! BTW, kudos to whomsoever edited this - they did a fabulous job!

@@marshayoung9387 My favorite Monkees song is probably known only by Monkees fans, called "Shades of Gray." It's a lovely song. But if they wanted to pick a Monkees song more people would know, they could do "Daydream Believer" which still gets played on radio stations, or "I'm a Believer," which was in Shrek. I'd also love them to do a Depeche Mode cover too, though I expect that's just a fantasy. Of course, DM has been around for over 40 years, so VP would have a lot to pick from!

I remember hearing this as a child back in the 1960s. This was so fun watching them showcase what they call their brand of dumb. The BTS video was as much fun to watch as the finished product. In a chat with Geoff and Kathy, Kathy said they have been having issues finding cameramen for VoicePlay shoots so they have resorted to using their cell phones like for Jinglebell Rock. She said it seemed like they were all fleeing Florida.

It's a great song, great singers and a very well produced song and video with a lot of creativity. I wonder where it was shot, looks like an aisle in a hardware store to me.
