Great pub. I remember during the covid days when every gig my wife had booked for my birthday were called off. Heard a local dude Russ Tippins was playing. 28th December, walked half cut from the Haymarket in Newcastle, was a massive hike after a few (definitely taxi next time) but it was worth it. Lovely warm reception and the night was amazing

For me personally, after months of travelling about all the villages on the way yem to 'soo sheelz' the best sunda lunch av ever had was at the 3 tuns, heddon at the turn off for the military road! Honestly the plate was proppa gadgey sized (maybe checked me build oot on ordering n said he looks like he could eat some lol) but ffs the dinna was lush! Av had some massive Christmas dinnaz in me time but this was fkn epic! Just try it! Might have a different chef now like but sittin chompin that meal watchin the toon on a few screens was a memory to savour! The pubs in a poor location for dogs as there's nay space but they welcome wa 2 twatterdales in nay botha :) Get yasels in but you'll need a nap lol ;)

BBC Sport wrote today in the article about Everton and Nottingham charged regarding financial rules: Clubs can lose a maximum of £105m over a three-season period, or £35m per campaign, before facing sanctions. We’ve had loses of £70m two years in a row. Are we in danger of getting charged then? Do you know?
@TynesideLife6 ай бұрын
Hi mate, this is such a complex topic that only the accounts really know. You’re right about the broad rules though. Man City will likely face sanctions next season at the conclusion of their investigation. I’m certain that our owners are all over this and haven’t breached ffp. Our accounts do show however that we’ve got very little wriggle room to bring reinforcements in, especially this January. I wouldn’t build your hopes up for big signings. The summer should see some players end their contracts and we may sell one or two to bring some in.

Rumors on BBC: "Newcastle United will be forced to sell Bruno Guimaraes, 26, and Alexander Isak, 24, to meet Financial Fair Play regulations" I hope not they are correct :(
@TynesideLife6 ай бұрын
You’ve put quotation marks around that bud. Can you add the source please cos I can’t find that. We aren’t in breach of ffp as far as I’m aware but I am expecting Bruno to be sold in the summer if a big European club trigger his £100m release clause. I am worried however if Trippier goes to Bayern Munich that it may cause a domino effect for players like Isak who want to play European football.
