An interesting fact about the type 2ASE. When they did the redesign from type 1 to 2 the US mint said the new design would include overt AND covert security features. And so that high expectation was fulfilled by a missing reed. Leaving many to speculate there must be more… what’s the covert security feature?🤷‍♂️

I thought Ted tested a type 1 eagle and a type 2 eagle and claimed to have a different reading using a multi-meter. Now he claims he does not have the equipment.

I must say I liked Ted a lot when I saw him for the first time on your channel recently. But after watching him in a few more videos, and especially after his endorsement of that Type 2 Eagle tin foil hat theory, he started to sound more like a snake oil salesman or carnival barker. When someone says to me, "Trust me, I know what I'm talking about," that's a good sign I shouldn't. You seem like a smart, rational, honest person. I have my doubts about "radio personality" Ted. But I'll keep an open mind ... as well as my Type 2 Eagles. 😊 Many thanks for all you do!

Well Jarrod, your viewers are speaking to you. A significant portion believe that "TedSpeaks" is really not well suited with his message for your audience. Not wanting to be rude, I believe that there are other channels on KZfaq that he might be a better fit for but certainly not your channel. We are trying to grow your channel with interviews of experts that bring value and substance. Unfortunately, TED doesn't have the pedigree that will help grow your subscribers. I like many will not watch another video with Ted as your guest. It;s not a feeling thing, it's a fact thing. Keep bring us vids with Andy and others in that realm. The blond you had on that was more interested in greeting all the chat members coming on board instead of having a discussion in another guest suited for others.

Yep, KZfaq will give you a strike. Some subjects are best discussed on other platforms. I try to steer clear of the controversial topics as that’s not what my channel is focused on.

The very video Ted is speaking of, Bix Weir made a statement in the comments section where he states that the missing reed on the type 2 eagles is for blockchain identification for our new monetary system that is coming. Each coin has its own crystalline structure identifier. Those are Bix’s words almost verbatim. Anybody can go and verify this for yourself. So folks, keep buying Type 2 eagles if u want, they are fine.

Actually this isn't that far fetched of a concept because if the tech exists to engrave a microscopic qr code they would definitely do it... But game theory it even further. That would mean that they anticipate returning silver to the monetary system and valuing these very high as they should be. This is actually logical since no one has ever successfully replaced a failed paper money with another paper. Also the Mint did say they put a covert security feature on it so why would they lie? But I could see them not telling what it is because people would reject it immediately. Now that they are 4 years in they got the public to accept it unknowingly. If true that just means these can be put on a blockchain and accounted for once scanned in and locked away but I don't think they could ping them in your pocket. It's an interesting topic and remember we are dealing with the people who confiscated gold. This sort of scheme is exactly what I would expect with technological developments. I say just mint the money old school and let it circulate.The only need to get this tricky is if you want to run another scheme to buy time.

If/when silver rockets in price, counterfeit coins will surface more frequently. Maybe the niche on the outside edge of the Type 2 Eagles is an ID that must surface when trading or selling a coin. I'll keep all forms of my Ag. As always, thanks for the info 🦅🇺🇸

This isn't just about the silver eagles and whether they have a tracking chip in them? This is about whether you can trust the government to do anything financially? And we all know the answer to that question is no. Do you own the deed to your house or how about your stocks? Are you starting to see the picture now? I get a lot out of listening to Ted. i need the repetition, each time i listen i get another piece of the puzzle. im working on having a fluent understanding of the economic system shit show we've all been subjected to and how to thrive in the upcoming times, so i dont care about the 2 or 5 or whatever percent of things that Ted says that i disagree with. I focus on the majority of what he says. Im learning alot and its giving me information i can use to plan, act and thrive. I also dont care if he "steps out of bounds" sometimes, like the type 2 eagle theory. Nobodys perfect, but to me, I think Ted speaks a powerful truth so needed to be heard

I believe Bix said that it is a unique identifier, the notch is simply used to locate the coin in the correct position to read it in the same spot every time.

Stacking Sufer, I think it was CLEAR he said or implied the Type 2 has a tracking!! He said he would provide a video if we send a email and I went on his site and sent message WITH NO REPLY! I lost lost of faith with TED! What he said/implied when he said there are tracking that can find anything with this tech! Now he's backing up!! Lost respect with TED!

No it’s actually a “ dollar “ made by the US mint. A round is just a silver 1 oz round

Its round in shape, but because it’s “government minted” it has a denomination or dollar value on it. Rounds don not have a denomination or dollar value, so they are rounds minted from a private mint, like the Sunshine Mint.

I used to walk into our bank when I had a paperroute and hand the bankteller a $1 bill (silver certificate) and she'd give me a Silver Dollar. Now it takes 35 sheets of toilet paper to get a Silver Eagle dollar.

Shape is irrelevant. The difference between a coin and a round is whether it’s issued as official currency by a sovereign nation with a designated monetary value. A rectangular buffalo bar is still a round and a coin can be shaped like a coke bottle. Hope that helps?

It’s due to the backed date not being minted again and people collecting them. I don’t think it has anything to do with the coin just the date. People love to chase dates.

My wife and I love “silver surfer” and of course Ted speaks!! And Ted I’m old school coin guy, in the business since 1974!! But,, the post 2021 type 2s with the “reed removel”? Is more to do with “fake” Authenticity, then tracking with this so called “bull diamond dust”!? They move the reed each year? Why?! Sorry kids,, it’s to remove fakes,, not trace your coins guys?! I bought a lot of type 2 ASE’s a few weeks back. I do prefer the type one reverse more but I’m not paying a premium for type 2 over type 1.

the problem i think eagles face is to the uninformed public is that the mint where they are made stamps its worth on the back, one dollar. go now to any food store and buy one loaf of bread. its going to cost you at least four and a half eagles. this guy is full of mud i think.

Well when and if the monetary system is changed into silver again obviously silver will be valued more than the face value of the coin and it will be understood to a point what that will be by the general public once that system is put into place so obviously one silver ounce of silver eagle will be worth a lot more than its face value. That's exactly what gold is and tell me that a coin that says it's worth $200 on face value in Gold it is way more than that to buy and purchase! Think about it logically

I believe the new Gold Maples have a scannable qr code etched on them that is visible and if you have the app you can check the blockchain provenance of who owned it previously. I don't care for that but why couldn't the Type 2 eagles have micro tech unseen in the empty notch? The new Britannias have amazing micro etching and holograms stamped on them. If it is micro tech then we wouldn't be able to detect it. They did say it was covert. Also the new design came into existence around the time that oil went to -$36 a bbl signifying a bankrupt financial system so this design is really a new era sort of like the Peace dollar after WW1

@@StackingSurfer It's common knowledge. You can read about the Canadian and British micro technology on their new coins anywhere. The question is did the US employ an unknown micro technology? Basically like a serial number inside a qr code. If they did then that's pretty ingenious but I still don't like it. They have serial numbers on their bills so on their coins it would be ideal for them to keep tabs on M2.

I looked up Honeywell, as well as the name of the person Ted referenced who was the head of the mint. I found a pdf online where he gave testimony in 2019 before the senate (I believe). There was a decent amount of discussion about the security being developed for the future coins and a variety of reasons given for why it would be necessary. Ted hurts himself when he attacks other people who question him. He needs to stop taking it personally. On the other hand, it’s not impossible to believe there could be truth behind his type 2 theory.

I saw a video (link below) showing the Monster Box with a GPS device. It’s under the removable bottom. Good idea to get rid of / destroy the tracking device prior to taking it to it’s final destination. The second part of the video, “put Eagles in water for 14 days to deactivate tracking chips” must be an April Fools joke. Think about it, adding a chip inside a coin would 1) be destroyed during pouring or stamping and 2) throw of the weight and silver contact. As far as silver is concerned, check it out, it’s notched so it can all be put on the blockchain. Oh mi dios, where do you guys live. As for soft landing who are you guys listening to? I’m just a little grandma and you guys sound like all my friends, most quite a bit older and are clinging to paper and wouldn’t touch PM as they grew up with paper and never studied history. The dollar will keep evaluating and PMs will keep moving up. At some point a new peg or backing of gold will be in store including a revaluation for the price of gold. Many say no future confiscation, but history tells us otherwise. It could come in the form of a tax or limitations as well. Best of luck and keep on stacking.
