@@DET-Buzz technically VIDAR is korean K-9 modified in Norway, so I think if we ever get to see Korean tech tree K-9 will be there and will be very similar to Type 99 and long barrel M109

is he really that effective in real life against tanks? if so, why arent they used in the same way? (i dont know much about tanks)

Well first you need a 152mm barrel to do that. Second, you need a big ahh turret to hold those shells (i mean look at the auf1, type99 and the paladins). And tanks are meant to support infantry. Now imagine you replace the current mbt with these glass cannon, you would have no armor to support ground squads and also risking the squad as you are literally a moving bomb if your ammo get hit. I know you can argue that we can put more armor but then why do that when the current mbt is sufficient enough and put these arty at the back.
