Yes you are definitely not the first one to say that about this crushing song! It is most definitely an awesome opening song hands down! Type O Negative is my favourite band hands down as well as “Carnivore” 🤘

Man back in the good old days when they opened with prelude, you’d stand there shitting your pants with that machine beeping. Can’t feel it from this recording, but the shit was warm in my pants.

This is the first I’ve seen them actually play that main riff from the song. Usually in older concerts, they just skip to the “agony and ecstasy, your cries of pain my pleasure” part.

parts of it sounded just like Balack Sabbath , parts of it sounded like It created Doom all by itself & parts of it sounded klike Metal, not sure what Peter says in the song as I cant understand the lyrics very well, at all. but it fit & worked,. One of the Most underrated hard working bands in the biz.
