having tried to learn how to do this several times via the adobe indesign help system, and failing dismally, this is absolutely the simplist and easiest demonstration I have seen. And now i can create curved text. Thank you.

can u only move your text inside the path if it's on a closed path (i.e. ellipse or rectangle) as opposed to a curved line?

came here specifically looking for how to get tect on the inverse side of the path (circle). that little line is not there on my end. did indesign get rid of it???

Trying to learn to move the type from one side of the line to the other and make it reverse (it's coming in backward). All you say is "You can move it to the other side." But you don't say how you got it to do that. Guess I'll look for another tutorial.
