Not all asphalt is created equal. Different mixes exist for different purposes, so it's important to know the difference. In this we video we go into some detail about the most common mixes of asphalt that we use.

Thank-you! I wonder which mix my town uses to patch the new gas lines. I’m guessing if they use HL8 it will result in a patch higher than the original surface. Can you tell me is HL3A should be used for better feathering?

i didn't get it right, you meant the we have to pave HL8 1st. then HL3/HL3A on top of HL8? because you said underneath of HL3/3A. what if just pave it with HL8 on top of roadbase? thank you for your video and thank you in advance to reply me back for my questions.
