+Ansh Mishra well, can't be answered in a comment box...but ....let's try...there was a time when jatts were considered a lower class....in the words of Khushwant Singh -"The Jat's spirit of freedom and equality refused to submit to Brahmanical Hinduism and in its turn drew the censure of the privileged Brahmins.... The upper caste Hindu's denigration of the Jat did not in the least lower the Jat in his own eyes nor elevate the Brahmin or the Kshatriya in the Jat's estimation. On the contrary, he assumed a somewhat condescending attitude towards the Brahmin, whom he considered little more than a soothsayer or a beggar, or the Kshatriya, who disdained earning an honest living and was proud of being a mercenary" ....as far as baniyas are concerned ...well they were money lenders traditionally and are accused of fraudulently charging high amount of interests from jatts who , in those days, were not literate enough to understand the accounts....apart from the casteism issue......bahmans and baniyas are infamous for their shrewd nature and money mindedness and how they would go to any extent to earn profit....i hope you get the idea

+Jaspreet Singh not all Bhamins are privileged and in fact my grandfather and his brothers had a sugarcane farm in Amritsar district with 150 acres ..so stereo types only go so far .manny jatts own gas stations and are doing the works of baniyas.many Bhamins drink eat meat so where does caste play into it besides ego..in fact during the Kargil war many of the people killed were punjabi Bhamins ..casteism is a disease we all have to stop

Nothing against anyone but Jatt's aren't considered "high caste". Brahmins and Kshatriyas are the highest caste.

Jatts exceed the caste system. We made fun of brahmins and corrupt Khatris for the longest time, and both castes were too cowardly to confront handsome, tall jatts that would fuck them up. We never submitted to our place on the Hindu caste system.
