Me coming here like the speed of light to support my girl!!!

I'm a 72 year old brunette with dark brown hair. I have used box dyes since I started getting a lot of grays. However, for the past 5 years my hair has gradually thinned. I can't use the box dyes made for women anymore because they totally burn my scalp (at least the ones I have used). So I tried the box dye made for men that only has to sit for 5 minutes and it works. You don't get as much product but it is enough for what I have. I always thought the burning was because of my thinning hair but I didn't realize that my aging scalp also contributed to this issue. Great information. Looking forward to learning more.

I’ve been a blonde for years… I’m a high lift blonde that welcomes golden hues… that being said I do highlights to get a brighter blonde and the best I’ve used and will forever use is the schwarzkopf blondme nothing like. I literally don’t have any breakage. Highly recommend!

I use a product called Ice Cream, it's imported from Italy. I mix it myself with 20 or 30 vol, then I add some jojoba, Moroccan oil and a squirt of purple conditioner. My hair is not so bad damage wise, but it is dry. I only do my hair maybe every 3 months, not as often as I used to at all. I've been doing my own hair for 35 years now. I have no idea what my natural color is anymore lol.

About 2 1/2-3in (it’s different in the back it’s more like 4-5”) of grow out with a lot of silvers and I’m just unsure what to do. Maybe you can help me figure out my hair. It’s very thin, can see my scalp especially in the front. I’ve been highlighting, bleaching hair for the last 30+ years. Half that time a bleach and tone at an aVeda salon. Loved it but to now too expensive and I need more dimension as I’m getting older. I started highlighting my hair with a boxed hair lighting kit but it’s become bleached blonde. My natural blonde is dirty blonde, not sure but maybe a 6 or 7? Guessing. I want to be blonde but not platinum anymore, my hair is so dry and it no longer suits me. It’s that aging thing lol! So I’d like to be a darker blonde with some blonde highlights. The blonde gives me great body especially in the scalp area. I look washed out with a golden blonde even though I like that look on others. So I want a cooler blonde but not ash. No Ash, gray tones. Maybe there is a way to mix colors? Been researching but just can’t find the right color and can’t decide on the right process. I’m a “hip” 65 year old who wants brighter blonde hair color without that bleach blonde straw stuff! Hope I explained it so it makes sense to you. Any ideas, help? So, what happens if the crème lightener is put in a mixing bowl and then covered loosely before any developer is ever added? Since the developer hasn’t been added to it, will it still work or does air exposure weaken bleach before it’s mixed with developer too?

What do u suggest is best non swelling bleach even of professional products ? Is it Schwarzkopf blonde me? Do u blonde me is much better then the ion sally cream one u showed ?
