Thanks! The dress is modified from this pattern: blankslatepatterns.com/collections/women/products/abrazo-tee I just cut off at the waist and added a skirt.

Melly thank you for an amazing video. So much info in one place, I loved it! Can you recommend any type of nylon blend that you like for leggings? I found all polyester-based fabrics to be too plasticky for my taste. :) thanks!

I don't have any specific nylon blends I can recommend off the top of my head because they can change, so I'd recommend going to the blog post linked in the video description with shop sources and seeing if you can get sample cuts from shops/fabrics that interest you.

I'm new to sewing and wish I'd found you before now! Your video is so helpful as I don't know much about fabric. I will pretty much have to order online, unless I get it from Walmart. Do you have any suggestions for children's pajama fabric? I will be checking out your other videos.

I like the cotton spandex made by Riley Blake Designs and it's 205 GSM

I can't - it depends on the weight of the fabric you're using and your preferences. I'd suggest getting swatches to make the choice for yourself.

is it true that almost all children's leggings on the market are cotton/spandex blends. why is that? i mean children engage in sports and could use the moisture-wicking of other fabrics like adults do?
