yes but in limit order , limit price must be below LTP(last traded price) if limit price is above LTP , order will be executed at market price.

One change required. IN SL-LMT, execution is same like SL-M but SL-LIMIT ensures slippages should not be more than limit price. Hence if market goes below your prefered LIMIT price after hitting trigger price, execution should not be far below levels. Order remains Pending. So there is no certainty of Execution in SL- LIMIT ORDER. In SL-MARKET, Your Execution will surely happen immediately after the trigger price hits, whatever bids and asks are matching happening between buyers and sellers. There is a certainity of Execution unless stock hits Circuits.

Brother same protection sell orders pe bhi hoti hai kya Aj mai jab trading kar raha tha options me to main market order 400 me execute karna chaha par hua 350 me automatically 1800 ka profit hone wala tha par hua sirf 350 ka Ye kya groww app ka kuch restrictions hai ? Aisa nahi ki price gira tha price 400 hi tha par selling price market se kaphi niche vale price me execute hua Isse kaise resolve kare
