Ever since he launched ive been saying it. TTar is by far the hardest late game carry in the game and with the final stretch mechanics, being strong later is much more valuable than being strong early imo. Early lets you snowball but you can still mess up once, get that long spawn timer and lose all momentum. On the other end, TTar may get bullied hard, but the second he hits lvl 9 he's gonna bully you right back, and he'll do it even harder.

Sand tomb and dark pulse makes tyranitar even scarier. Add the triple 6 build with the added defense from his passive and sand tomb and he's nearly unkillable 💀

You are always better off running white emblems over def + sp def emblems only. Try to build a 4 white, 6 blue, 6 brown build for ttar. Or 6 white, 4 brown, 4 blue. I

Of course I'm excited about Urshifu and Dragapult, and the thought of new held items and a new battle item is awesome too but what I'm really looking forward too is the party grouping for ranked and the stack counters cuz wow is it easy to lose track

As a tryanitar main I can agree. The other day in ranked I got 250k damage with him. You definitely want ttar in central area and can run muscle band instead of attack weight if you aren't stacking.

I almost always play in bottom lane. I don’t like ttar in center because it’s early game gank isn’t great, and stacking is just better, even if you onky get like 2 stacks. Ill still play it in center if we don’t have someone sho wants it though. Ttar is better in bot lane though.

@@andrewgood7586 I agree with you in the ganking but getting lvl 9 as quick as possible is the 1st thing you should be doing. Getting lvl 9 before the 1st regileki is way more important than ganking or stacking.

You can try running x-speed over full heal. I pop it when I'm alting to make it harder to flee. Also, I really wanna see you play a trio-q game of Mime, A9, and Crustle and put up walls everywhere. I believe it would be fun.

That is the same item set i used i will say this it is so busted in some fights being able to tank hits while doing insane amount of damage with weakness policy but i use attack and crit for emblem

Yes I think TTar is one of the best high end Pokémon. It’s scale up is enormous after lvl 9, like you say it just becomes the best. It can tank and carry as well.

T-tar is my main and my go to "I feel like a need a win" pokemon. You just gotta play smart and farm till you hit 9 then you own the game. When I lose with T-tar it's usually because of something dumb like a Ray steal.

He didn't abandon top, he abandoned center. If you watch the map during the beginning of the game you can see the enemy team Lucario invade his center area. It's really unfortunate how no one on the team noticed.

Ttar is great late game but idk about the best. Ranged attackers just have to keep their distance and not much can be done. He has to run up on them to kill

I play ttar a lot and ranged attackers are only a problem if their are several of them and you have no back up. Otherwise you just have to hold your ancient power until they use their moves, and then it’s over for them

@@Djhinn Nah. The 25% damage reduction, 25% slow, aoe damage, ability to pull enemies, dash and jumping walls was always better. Ap+x speed was really fast at release though. The nerf did make ap more kitable. I just really don’t like that ap can get canceled way too often by cc, and if that happens, you don’t get your piercing or the extra shield. At least with sand tomb you have a guaranteed damage reduction and piercing zone.

I agree totally with the perception of Ttar, until level 9 It struggles a lot, After level 9 you have also to be careful until you match the mean level of other Pokemon, but if you manage to do that Is not a joke to Say that you can potentially 1v5 the enemy team. The only risk for Tyranitar are the stuns, if you can't use your moves from the right angle you cannot get shields, in fact i use full heal for big fights

I feel like even if you are at lvl +9, sometimes you still feel fragile, like the pokemon looks bulky but its not really. You take hits that are huge chunks of your health.

I never felt he is fragile. Once he is Lvl 9 he TANKS. Unless I'm really underlevel.

tbh i feel like ttar isn’t even that much stronger late game than a lot of other all rounders. in most cases it feels like more of a liability than an asset to me. It’s hard to take down, but 9 times out of 10 i feel like you can just kinda… run away from it? especially if you’re playing a character with decent movement, like one good hop over a wall, and what can ttar even really do? Ofc, that’s contingent on people knowing not to try fighting ttar head on.

Well if you play ttar well you can double stun enemies and smoke screen and eject buttons useful in this situations

as someone who knows the art of the tyranitar you arent actually that weak early your early secure is decent but after the first bees you fall off so just play the lane steal farm and kills then stay bottom for first eleki until u can get your 9 because you cant do much anyway so either its a 4v5 and u get free farm bottom lane or one on the enimy team stays bottom then top lane is 4v4 which is way more winnable

I always try to get center with it but it so slow it gets outpaced by a lot of faster mons. Though I do love to use it.

never use it mid, im tyranitar main and it works better bottom line, it takes abit of time to get there but if you have a good jungler, the third turn of jungle will most of the time give you level 9 by minute 6 and maaaaaan, you will make them RUN

I think that Tyranitar is really good, BUT you do need your team to help you get ahead, or get lucky and have an enemy team that LETS you get ahead. Once you're ahead, even by a level, you can ALMOST 1v5, but if you're behind you're capitalizing on enemy mistakes at best to try and catch up.

It will be super slow except for when it procs swift swim andit will only know splash and tackle, tackle being its only damaging move and splash being like a shorter garde teleport where it just hops to an area and deals no damage. Or it can just splash in place and do nothing like clefable's unite.

Sand tomb is still the better move, although I have conceded that dark pulse is better than stone edge. You can drop the focus band for a scope lense and its just insane.

@@bigkoso4010 The dash is objectively better. Especially if you run eject. You can jump in to a fight and catch people off guard. With ap, enemies see you coming from a mile away and just run. lol

Been playing AP Tyranitar and I've battled multiple times against a ST Tyranitar and they get crushed xD... Unless they just go with all the hype of it and not really study ST.

I just had a match with Tyranitar and we got an afk greninja. We got shit on for the first half of the game, I hit lv 9 and they literally can't kill me. Tyranitar is basically Decidueye 2.0 except he is harder to scale but scale stronger

As a Current Ttar main I agree his early game is bad. I play Jungle Ttar and Just get Lvl 9 and from there the real fight begins. Ig they had to make him trash early game to balance it out coz Ttar is sooo good. Also I run Sand Tomb Dark Pulse combo and Love it.

I think your mistake is not having muscle band. It is pretty strong for early game, helps taking creeps faster and still good in lategame. And due to tyranitar passive playstyle until lvl9, I don't think attack weight is good on him. Too much risk. I'm not a good player and this could be wrong, but I just wanted to say what I think.

Attack weight is objectively better. Focus band isnt necessary though, and you can opt to drop it for a muscle band or scope lense.

The biggest problem I have with TTar is how ridiculously aggressive catch-up xp is. I shouldn't have to feel like me harassing a larvitar in lane and preventing them from getting exp and levelups is completely useless and a waste of time considering they can just do half a jungle clear and get 2 levels back. Scaling is free for late game Pokemon and it's not healthy for the game

Tyranitar= High Risk, High reward. Basically you play this pokemon to gamble, simply by being useless for the first 5 mins and then looking for a clean 5 sweep and get rayquaza. If you fail to do so, then tyranitar is not your pokemon. I am a tyranitar main so yea.

I mean that's way too obvious tbh. Ttar is bad early game and great late game. I mean with a high assassinating potential that you get from him, who wouldn't play Ttar? With right items and in right situations and moveset, you can actually 3v1 the opposing team with a Ttar. Dear goodness, he is insane.

In my experience, gardevoir mains are the worst players in all of unite. If you get a gardevoir on your team there is a 99% chance they will be useless
