Tyrese is so underrated, His acting is phenomenal, but people sleep on his vocal skills.. This chocolate melanin can SANG his ass off... IF you can sing live and sound like your soundtrack, you are truly a singer, and let's not forget the back up singers... Wonderful SOUL.. THIS IS MUSIC! 🎶 🎵
@pdmerritt8 ай бұрын
I disagree, anyone who is old enough to remember Tyrese's big breakout footage, a coca-cola commercial, had no doubt that he was something special. His vocal skills have always been recognized. It's just that they are now overshadowed due to the Fast and Furious movies mostly. Heck, he himself stated that he just doesn't see too much of a reason to do much music because the movies have made him SOOO much more money with way less work.

Straight soul singing ! Look at his soda commercial when he was a little kid, he was born with it. No dancing, gimmicks etc. Pure, unfiltered soul. You don't hear it a lot these days because most people can't sing soul. It is not about your runs or perfect pitch, it is about what you communicate. The feelings that you convey...how you touch people , from afar with your voice. Bravo

TBH to all of you who are so worried about the crowd's reaction.. they seem more focused then standing up acting a fool which is a good thing. Even with me looking at this video, he had me so drawn in due to being a vocal beast. He did amazing, Black Ty sound like his record and it's a personal one for him so it hits home with that performance... maybe if he went a lil harder but i loved this performance.

Sir Allen Short or they probably never heard the song. I had to listen to it twice to catch on to the way the song actually sounds. If they knew the lyrics, they'd been singing too. I was singing.

This type of music has a msg. One that almost everyone can relate to on one level or another. You’re silent because he’s telling a story. YOUR story, but in song. And it hits home with extreme force. With that said, there are no words. The difference between listening and understanding

Am I trippin or was the women in tears? Tyrese reached into all our chests and ripped our hearts out and forced us to look at our hearts face to face and see everything. Flaws, pain and all. He's so talented. God bless him❤

Beautiful to the core of a woman's or man's soul that has ever been through pain, and accepted an heartfelt apology. ♥ Well done Brethren, well done.
