@@saminstrumentals4588 John is a fraud. He talks all this shit in his later years to compensate for the fact that he’s a failure with a big ego. He still wants the attention on his name because apparently it ain’t enough for his son to be world champion. In his 8 wins, 7 wins came from points lmao. He was so bad, whenever he punched it looked like he was holding heavy dumbells in his hand. So slow and he just slips his head into punches. Now he won’t even fight an ex bodybuilder with the name of Micky Theo. Very embarrassing. He made excuses for his losses saying he was doing it after work and short days notice, well John if You come from a fighting background then why does a few days notice make a difference. And he went down like a pussy and clearly quit and refuse to get up. He wasn’t completely knocked out cold. Talk about a gypsys heart. John is hurt he could never be anything. He wanted to be a world champion and never could, so he got his son to be what he couldn’t. So he needs to stop pretending he only fought for a few quid cuz clearly he had dreams of being a world champion and passed it on to his son lmao. To think a man like big bad John fury makes excuses

I shall answer in a dignified manner since first of all your comment is spot on, and secondly, you speak the truth in a hugely mature manner, so rare... So! (I say this as a Karate and Taekwondo black belt): Johnny boy has huge heart, visible flair and he's game, boy oh boy is he game! ... but... where's his son's height? Where's his son's bone density - to just shrug off damage? Where's his son's pure mass and weight in order to be able to inflict damage from half-assed shots?... Well nowhere! THE SON has neither Anthony Joshua's athleticism, nor anywhere near the punching power. But he offsets people with his reach and movement, and he gets in from holy strange angles for no other reason - but the very height and breadth of him: how, now, do you fight a man like that, when he can take a hell of a punch and keep pushing you around, effectively controlling the ring?... I have a fleeting though - VITALI Klitschko "might have been able to" do it - and maybe, just maybe!... The old master Lennox Lewis, probably the coolest heavyweight of all time. John Fury lacks horse power and that's that. It's not about "having the heart". It's about having THE CARDS! Wladimir was a "boring, conservative fighter, hiding behind a long jab and a hugely muscular physique", who, when seen to "punch with force on occasion" - would blow his opponents clean out of the water with the lethal combination of height, reach, beautiful technique and massively superior physical strength. And for the record - he hit MUCH, MUCH harder than any of Deontay Wilder, Mike Tyson, that sad sack of shit George Foreman or even his own older brother. He basically hit like a fucking German King Tiger, late WW2. It was over any time he landed clean: NO ONE can handle that kind of power. He was a little lazy... He was a little too attached to women... He was a little too good-looking for his own good, considering what sport he's in... And he practically owned everybody as soon as he became tactically astute - and no one has ever seen him "fight angry", or fight at anywhere near peak capability, except maybe his sparring partner, the long-suffering Vitali Klitschko, who basically became his brother's rag doll once Wlad reached 119 kg. It's NEVER about heart. It's ALWAYS about GENES. You ARE - or you ARE NOT. And THAT ALONE decides who's great, and who's a sad, pathetic try-hard with no chance in hell against anyone half-decent.
@justinneill5003
@justinneill5003 11 ай бұрын
@@alexisverpakovskis857 I agree with pretty much all of this, except for the assessment of Vitali compared with Wladimir. For me, Vitali was less “polished” but he was (is) bigger, stronger and more aggressive, and above all, has a chin of stone, never knocked out. Despite the unfortunate cut stoppage, his performance against Lennox Lewis was superb, he took Lewis’s best shots and landed some huge shots that shook Lewis. I think the best comparison to be made between Vitali & Wladimir is how they both handled the same opponent (Corrie Sanders) with very different results.

Vitali HAS been knocked out by the way - but only in sparring - and by his own little bro, no less. For me, Wladimir spells potential never really displayed at 100%, because out of the two, Wladimir is actually the physically stronger specimen dude!... And that can mean A HELL OF A LOT! ... he knew how to use it anyway...

@@Crimson_Blade858 I'm not the biggest John Fury fan, but I would say that he's probably one of the best of his age, as i doubt most ex-pros bother to keep in shape after their glory days. John was out there putting in some fights taking punishment giving it and trying to earn a bob or two for his family and now his son has held the belts still is the WBC HW Champion and is known world wide, so John from his experience through fights like this , he's done alright and should get the credit for going out there and doing it.

@@craigadams8132 seriously you did watch it all & you didn't see him rushing in flailing like a windmill when Harry Carpenter said it was a British Heavyweight Title Eliminator I near pissed myself that John Fury 11 Fights in 4 yrs 8 Wins is the best challenger for the British Title Eliminator ffs we'd a wealth of shit back then!

Reach is a big advantage. John should of tried to go inside and "dirty" box. But he stayed outside being an easy target. Tyson would not have the same reach issue
