For all those still having a dig at Fury, he was willing to fight on foreign soil on 3 occasions to a hostile crowd. For that, he deserves respect. He even went over to say well done to Wilder and he did reciprocate the respect and chose to be a bad sport. For that, Wilder doesn’t deserve respect and has shown himself to be a nasty POS. glad he got knocked out as now, he might grow into a better person.

Simple facts are that Tyson is a better fighter, more charismatic and likable, and seems to be a better man overall. Though I will admit that charisma may be the main thing there. Anas Shahid I thought Wilder took the first two rounds, then Fury nearly stopped him in the third, then came back amazingly in the fourth, nearly stopping Fury. Between 5-7 they were close rounds that could've gone either way both being hurt, but Fury's energy not leaving him and Wilder's evaporating in the 8-10 Fury was taking shots but starting to dominate, Wilder's last great moment was the end of the tenth, the last time he buzzed and rocked Tyson back out of nowhere. That was his last stand after surviving a vicious knockdown. I would've told Wilder to take certain rounds off after the 7th because he was so tired, he was gonna be losing them anyway. I'd have also made him guzzle water like no tomorrow before the 11th and asked him to 'hold on' don't swing, just survive, and then give yourself one last chance in the 12th, because after 7 it was on a score card basis level, by the 11th Wilder was clearly well behind. Wilder LITERALLY went down swinging that right, very slowly, and groggily, but swinging it all the less if you watch in slow mo. He was even trying to get up when halfway house unconscious.

Dude you are allowed to do that in boxing. Clinching, pushing etc... Are all legal. It jsut cannot be done to excess. Wilder did not complain about it in the fight. Fury worked within the rules. He was consistently punching not jsut mauling and holding and doing nothing. Big difference in active clinching and just passively holding on doing nothing. And let's not forget Wilder tried to do worse in the 2nd fight, he literally tried to tackle Fury to the ground at one point and the ref did nothing. So even if you felt ref did not do enough here, reality is it balanced out over the trilogy.

Crafty Compass that's a bullshit analysis. Wilder won the first two, then got nearly stopped, then had a huge 4th, and 5-7 were relatively even on punches thrown, and landed, the only difference was Fury wasn't getting tired and Wilder was. 8-10 were one sided rounds besides small amazing moments like the end of the tenth when he rocked Fury with a combination in the last 10. If you call a 'war of attrition' like this 'being outclassed' besides the knockdowns, you're an idiot. Fatigue is what turned it one sided after the seventh.
