@thetruesquad5059. What's that got to do with anything? That's like saying that the worlds strongest man isn't average. Do you know that people who participate in elite competition, aren't average? He was fighting a bigger, heavier man with a longer reach and two years younger, and beat him. And 6' 3" these days isn't really considered that tall, there are millions of people of that height.

Don't see it either. It was a good fight, but rematch would still be 70/30 in Usyks favour, presuming Tyson got into similar condition next time. Neither need the money. Usyk no longer undisputed after IBF is stripped, etc.

I actually thort there was 2 knock downs in there as furys head went back and he sort of fell baack into the ropes and it may just be me but it looked like fueys eyes rolled back and there ustk was just punching fury around the ring and then again fury fell back into the corner and the ropes kept him up

Fury had to use his jab more but the probalem with fighting usyk you cant keep doing the samethings over and over again which fury did..he used to jab to set up the uppercut and when he wasnt using the jab he was going body to head and you have to mix it up more against usyk hes way way to smart...usyk his by far the best pure boxer in all of boxing..a man whose been doubted just because, of his size showed the world the smarter,better boxer beats a big man anyday....tyson isnt known for punching power..ya he knocked wilder out 2x but it wasnt a one punch ko and hes not known for that...to be honest fury was in great shape and he couldnt beat usyk so i dont think a heavier fury can beat usyk either ...usyk is the man to beat fury...hes too quick and too smart ...usyk also came foward and pressured more than he usually does..he normally lays back a little and counter punches but last night he showed he can be the aggressor all night long and his pace is insane ..no heavyweight can keep up with that..he does the same to fury in the rematch or maybe even worse this time...if theres a rematch fury will pressure which will play right into usyks game plan

Good points you make there. Talk a lotta sense. I thought fury did well. But usyk is another level. I can't see the rematch going much better for fury. I thought the same with a.j. I actually think usyk has settled into his heavier self more, that the Joshua fights. , and has regained some more of his old engine back . And seems to have more power. That overhand left is damn lethal. The look on Fury's face when that connected, said it all.

Usyk can be beat, and Fury is capable of doing it. He used the wrong strategy. If you allow Usyk to stay on the front foot, he wins because he's continually putting you under pressure mentally and physically, even when he isn't throwing much. Fury clearly won rounds 4-6 on the back foot. He should have changed gears and started coming forward, putting a lot of pressure on Usyk. Instead, he allowed Usyk to keep backing him up and wearing him out mentally. It's why Usyk was able to catch him in the 9th - he was tired and got sloppy.

@@craig8304 difference is. Fury, as good as his gas tank is, for a guy his size, will never be anywhere close to usyks. That's why he couldn't keep moving forward. Fury tried everything. And usyk adapted, as he always does. He was in very good shape too. Rematch will be interesting. To see if fury can come up with something. But I'm not seeing it personally. I think usyk is too much for fury, and everyone else. Dudes a freak. Though, I don't think he's untouchable. Fury nailed him badly, a number of times. I don't know how usyk took that uppercut. But he did. Dude has some chin .

@farmermope7914 - I know what you are saying, but Fury's gas tank is good enough. Just needs the right strategy. Plus, I think he was more mentally fatigued than physically, and that's due to Usyk constantly applying pressure, changing angles, and making you think. Fury will be less fatigued if he is the one applying pressure and keeping Usyk on the back foot.

@@craig8304 maybe. Will see if fury makes the rematch. I personally don't think usyk give him the option of being on the front foot. In fact, as soon as fury attempted centre ring. That's when he got smashed all around the ring. He had most success on back fuck, throwing heavy shots. But even then. Usyk found a solution. Fury would win, if usyk didn't have such a chin on him. That uppercut fury landed, should have really kod usyk. I'm just amazed it didn't. And the body shots he landed. Guess that puts an end to that old wives tell, of him having weak body 😬

I had said this on so many KZfaq channels before the fight.... British people are lacking patriotism by supporting Usyk because of the sympathy of the Ukraine war. Now you see the truth Usyk's manager has rubbed it in your faces he said he is wearing black to express condolences to British boxing they are happy to have defeated 3 English men.
