My most favorite sprinter of all-time, Tyson Gay. I know he got caught using enhancement drugs, and also suffered off and on from groin injuries, but still I absolutely love the way this guy runs. His momentum just keeps building, and then when you think he can't go faster, he goes into his unique over-stride technique and actually out paces his physical limits. This is something very few can do, even among the best of all-time. I have never seen anyone over-stride like Tyson!

Not forgotten at all. He's tied 2nd all-time for the 100m so his name will be known for a long long time. It was the fastest electronic timed 100m recorded by a human, even tho it was wind aided. I remember the commentators on BBC at the 1996 Olympics stating that fact back then. Probably done at his national champs that year?? But if u look up justin Gatlin running on a specially made track to help him break the world record of 9 58sec, he does it it about 9.48sec on his own. Check it out Yo 🇮🇪🏅🏃‍♀️

Not saying he would of beat bolt at the Olympics that year, BUT, he would have kept it close. Bolt would have had to run all the way through to the end. Bolt 9.63 and Gay 9.67 to 9.69 could have been the final. It was never to be though, thanks to the 200m injury during the trials..

I've heard many say that Tyson Gay and Justin Gatlin gave Usain Bolt the best competition but that is not true. Yes, if because they were from another country, but no, because although Yohan Blake was Bolt's countryman, it was he who gave Bolt the most competition. There is a reason why Bolt called Yohan the Beast! I laugh when I hear posters and commentators say that Noah Lyles is going to beat Bolt's records, never mentioning that he, Noah, would have to try to beat Yohan's first. Viewpoints always amaze me.
