We used to walk all the aisles of all the shows before we set up, then our entire show in turns after we were open. Now 2/3 of the acreage in town is RVs & Gem World is open year round. It still is the preferred place for all the small miners to get out of the ice and retail for a month. My knees wont even take the reduced trips to the tables now.

dave, thanks for sharing your knowledge! you do a great job with the steady camera and long shots! bravo! i'm going in february for the first time ever..! can i be assertive and ask for lower prices? does offering cash and asking for a lower price make a dent anymore?

Hey Dave im going out to quartzsite for my first time. I see you are a seasoned customer there. Any advice you'd offer a first timer as for strategy on getting around to everything efficiently, and what to play close attention to?? Thanks.

Good question brother I’m gonna be making a video on that soon but in the meantime, you can think of it as a lot of people in Quartzsite or first or second hand dealers so a lot of them are willing to negotiate the Desert Garden venue is absolutely a bust this year so don’t be afraid to negotiate negotiating too much does it make friends which is worth more than saving a few dollars the powell starts on the 17th to the 20th I believe that’s definitely worth going to Desert Garden is already going on

How can you tell if an amethyst cathedral has been heat treated ?
