Why aren't you telling your viewers it requires a phone with Gyroscope. I notice this when I first started watching these videos the person is always using a Samsung phone.

I am having trouble getting the lenses lined up so that I can actually see the vr stuff instead of feeling like I am inside a Dr. Strange battle. Can anyone help? I have adjusted the spacing every which way possible but I just can't seem to get them to be clear.

I got mine for $10 at Wal-Mart. I have a question though. What is that washer on the side for and if I lose it, will any old washer of the same size work? I was messing with it when I had the headset on and it fell off and I can't find it anywhere! I was watching the Insidious 3 app when I lost it. So I think it might have fallen into the further.

Big concern/question. am loking at one of these. How can u control your phone to go from app to game to app? with no controls do u really have tk pul the phone out, run an app, and quickly jam it in as the app loads?

bought it, tried it, sucks. there is an honest review. Google cardboard does not recognize the QR code included with the goggles so it is going back. getting my $20 back and buying something useful like a case of beer

Pretty cool.

My case keeps popping open and phone falls out. Using android Turbo 2 and wife's android Maxx 2 without their cases. I'm taking it back. Also some apps play upside down. If i turn phone around where video is right side up, the head phone jack is on the wrong side. Very frustrating.

does it require a controller? i got the VR headset from a yard sale and i think we forgot a controller for it.

based on the several comments below, and testing it with the iphone 6s Plus, it seems this headset's magnetic switch does not work with iPhones. although, there is one person below that states it can work if you switch your phone around. As far as the magnet ring coming off, we were able to just put it back on. If that doesn't work for you, then I'm not sure how to fix it. Thank you all for watching this video.

I got it to work with the Google Pixel. Had to use a sudden / quick slide of the magnet (didn't use the headset connector). Need a good connection for Google Earth or it will look janky. Still testing...

Nice viedo, but younarr forgetting the jack adapter for the iphone 7. It's a very small cable that could fit inside as well.

Knowing that I only paid $17.88 at Walmart for this, I knew from reading about different VR glasses that I may need to adjust some things. The plastic that holds the head strap is very flimsy. One of the teeth broke off on mine within 5 minutes. The strap kept slipping off and when I tried to put it back on, the tooth or prong broke. No big deal. I tied the straps on with rubber bands to the remaining prong. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. I wish the adapter was on the other side or that it came with a longer cord, because it is on the wrong side for some applications. On those, I just watch without the earbuds. Even without the case on my phone, the magnets aren't strong enough to hold and the case pops open....solution...I put a rubberband around the whole thing to hold it shut. Even with all these tweeks, the VR experience is incredible. Your experience is only as good as the VR app that you are watching. Some are amazing. Some are poorly videoed and are hard to watch. Some of the 3D is amazing. Not sure that the magnet on the side works for games. Over all, this is a great price for getting into the VR game. My husband is amazed!

My 6 inch Zte zmax pro wont work on this , it's the button placement on the phone that sucks , if the headphone hole is to the right & I close it , it holds the volume down button or it holds the power off button & turns it off....if the headphone hole is to the left , & I close it the screen turns off & when I open & take my phone out it turns back on

It seems like the only way to use the google cardboard app with this vr system is to scan the headset QR code. This code helps the app calibrate video images to match the brand's lense style. If anyone finds this QR code please share the link!

I couldn't find the QR code for this specific device. I tried the one at cdn.instructables.com/F4H/6LPS/IIVZS4VW/F4H6LPSIIVZS4VW.SQUARE2.jpg and that seems to work okay in the Cardboard app. The images look better than with the default setting.
