you might ask how there are leaderboards on this map and client, and yesterday, the founder of oldsu released his 2008 client which connects to his server, and thus, having leaderboards and rankings with score!
It's not completely done yet, but it works, and its really fun!

Well, there's a 2008 skin released by peppy himself but nope, you can't change the UI on stable like it was in 2008. :(

Because at that time a private server called "oldsu" made it possible to have leaderboards/online play via this client. They've since made the 2009 client compatible too, but sadly nobody is playing there anymore :(.

Ah, the leaderboards and all that, right? I made this play on the private server "oldsu", a modified 2008 client with its own server. Their Website is currently offline but they'll release an update soon and you can create your own account soon (or ask the devs, they might do it for you idk).

Unfortunatly, not anymore. Development hasn't went anywhere in the last few months and there's not really motivation to push even a 2009 client with it. You *could* still play on it, but both website and account creation weren't released yet.. and won't for now I guess.
