The image that shattered me most was the picture of a mother kneeling between her two shrouded dead children and she pulled out one arm and then pulled out the other and held their wrists close together and her hands pressed in prayer in such a way as if she were offering a bouquet of petal like fingered flowers , first to her lips and then to the barren sky high above her head

He lost not just one but three of his children. 😢😢🙁

These images and photos all need to be all saved for the future of Palestinian holo cost museum.

More of this is needed, when Palestinians are shown in mainstream US news they are not given their humanity. We don’t learn their names, their children’s names, their line of work, their LIVES. I cannot fathom the extreme pain and suffering of losing all of your family at once, while at the same time dealing with displacement, lack of food/water, lack of access to privacy and sanitation, lack of medicine. It’s insane, no one in the west could bear this suffering. No human should be expected to bear this suffering.

isn't it bizarre that we draw a line between these pictures and pictures we deem inappropriate? These are not the worst images to come out of Palestine by far, they are not the most shocking or the most grotesque or the most revealing, they are the images we are allowed to see, because of some arbitrary law that says we are too sensitive to see the truth

It’s really hard to listen to the stories and look at these images. But I can’t imagine what it would be like to be in midst of it. My small suffering during this episode is a small grain of sand in comparison to all the suffering all these parents and children go through on a daily basis 😞
