After 3 months of training, U.S. Air Force Combat Aviation Advisors assigned to Air Force Special Operations Command CA Team OAD 7 EK11, and their Kenyan Air Force (KAF) partners completed a successful culmination exercise showcasing the wide range of capabilities this aircraft will add to the KAF fleet.

The C-145 executed an airdrop with casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) supplies, Kenyan rapid response unit members retrieved the package, and used it to treat and transport the casualty onto the aircraft for a simulated medical evacuation. (U.S. Air Force video by Senior Airman Victoria Hadden)

The Huey 2 Choppers are workaholics. I experienced its capabilities beginning of this year working at Kenya-Somalia border on the ongoing Securitization of that border as a surveyor. It's the main transport machine along the border line.

@@mwanikimwaniki6801 Well most sections of Kenya-Somalia borderline is well secured by numerous KDF Camps equipped will all manner of Arsenals. More and more Camps are being set up as the construction of the border Fence progresses. The border line is very long, 700KM so not all sections are secured yet and it's these sections Alshabaabs take advantage off occasionally.

why should kenya airforce buy retired airplanes at the same cost they can buy a modern and more capable russian plane..??when will people ever prioritize their national interests over making others happy.? Currently Kenya does not have a jet fighter that has night vision capabilities, they always buy overpriced 1978 f-5 at a price which can acquire a modern russian SU or MIG, they would rather acquire an overpriced first generation cobra attack helicopter than a modern russian gunship at a relatively lower price, they are doing the same mistake done by Armenia, luckily there is no immediate threat to the Kenyan border

Kenyan military is adequately equipped to deal with the militia threat from Somalia. You might want to do some geography and understand the demography surrounding the Kenya-Somalia border. Even if they were equipped with the latest military equipment it won't stop the radicals from attacking. Your point is baseless, If American soldiers are so well trained and have top-notch military equipment how come they still get ambushed and lose soldiers?
