I just stumbled across this video. Hearing Arnel so soft spoken yet his voice is so dynamic onstage. He brings soul, life and energy to the music. Amazing stage presence. I'm one of many fans who is grateful he was found and hired by Journey.

I was in the US Navy and stationed in the Philippines from 1986-1992. There was this AMO Band who played at Magsaysay St., in Olangapo City night club and I believed one of the 3 singers ( one female and two male) was Mr Arnel Pineda. At one time I heard one sailor said at the bar. " Damn' they sounds like the Originals." Yes, life is hard but just keep on doing what you think best for you.

I grew up with instruments in my hands - and no musician's library is complete without JOURNEY. The band is greater than the sum of its parts - each member lending to the JOURNEY sound/feel/legacy. Steve Perry....what else to say.....amazing. I always loved JOURNEY. But for some reason, when Arnel joined the ranks I think I loved them more...maybe in a different way. I think it's maybe his "story"...his background...HIS journey. My wife is a filipina and we missed their last pass through the DFW area....but will NOT miss again! Rock on, ARNEL PINEDA!

Steve Perry made lots of money without singing and touring. Maybe the reasons why He us so kind to Arnel Pineda. But Steve Perry is also a very humble man. How life can change in a blink of an eye. Wow! I have been A big fan of Journey since childhood in and my teenage days in the 1980s. I am now fifty years old I heard of them when I was thirteen--from a radio we listened to growing up in the province of Quezon o this day.

I love Arnel’s story how he worked so hard being a musician, never giving up and getting that break that changed his and familys lives bringing them from very poor to no longer having to worry about where they will sleep or when they will eat next. I love seeing good people like Arnel get a huge break like he did. He cares more about being a rockstar to help his family and because he loves music not because he wants 15 exotic cars, 15 vacation homes and a new girl every day. He does great moral things with his wealth it’s just an amazing story and we need more people like Arnel in this world. When I hear a story like Arnel’s it restores my faith in humanity he’s just an absolute beautiful soul.

Mr Arnel Pineda is now one of the legend in rock and roll history music in the Philippines in America. Truly his voice is outstanding. Good for him he never stop believing from rag to richest. That's what he achieve in his life and deserve it! Keep on rockin' on this free world! Journey is one of my favorite band. I've seen them so many times. From the beginning without Mr Steve Perry yet. Long live Journeys Band. Sir Arnel Pineda is one of the greatest replacement of the band. That's why they still live on playing, performing, touring, and making new album in 2022 yeah. I can't wait to hear and see that new songs. It should be fantastic!
