With a civil war raging in Syria that threatens the security of the entire region, these Marines are participating in Eager Lion, a 12-day multinational annual exercise in Jordan as uncertainty with the civil war raging neighboring Syria looms.

Greetings! as I examined the video and the communication in between both, the American and Jordanian forces I noticed the lack of the ability to understand each other. Moreover, as a Jordanian citizen find myself on the edge where I would be glad to help, I'd proudly finish the recon mission and translate for both during the process, if you guys find yourself in a Joint training just E-mail me :D

i was free at the time they should have called me , i'd do a much better job at translating . oh btw i love the last bit , the Jordanian dude was saying " come with us" its a traditional way for ending a conversation in Jordanian culture , like i am inviting you for dinner or a drink or whatever . and the American guy was like oh no we are going there , it was cringing to watch

هذا تدريب مشترك بين القوات الاردنية والامريكية , وما يظهر بالفيديو هو جزء من هذه التدريبات المشتركة ويسمى دورية استكشاف .. وهذه التدريبات ضمن برامج بين الجيش العربي الاردني والجيش الامريكي الهدف منها تعزيز القدرات واكتساب الخبرات المتبادلة وفي الدقيقة ال2:55 يقول المعلق الامريكي بتعليقه على تكتيكات الجيش الاردني بانه ما منها سيئ و منها الجيد واننا ما زلنا نتعلم من هذه التكتيكات .. وليس كما قال احدهم بان الجيش الامريكي يدرب الجيش الاردني

عشنا وشفنى الامريكان يأخذون التعليمات من الجيش الاردني في ارضه حتى لو كانت مجامله كما يضن البعض أسفنا على الجيش العراقي الجديد عندما كان جندي أمريكي يعطيهم تعليمات الذل والمهازل ويهددهم اذا لم يطيعو سنترككم لداعش وهم ساكتون ومستمعون اللهم اعد هيبت العراق

هي ليست مجامله اخي قبل ثلاث سنين لم يلتزم جنود امريكيون لقواعد الاشتباك المباشر مع غفير احدا الكتائب رغم علمه ان اقامتهم في الكتيبه مما ادى الى قتل اثنين منهم

No offense but the military linguist are awful. I worked with over 25 of them and all of them sucked. They would make up shit all the time because they were to embarrassed to say they had no idea what someone was saying. I seen it many times. They get paid more and it makes them look good on paper but they don't deserve any of that. At least the ones I worked with.
