The scene where the Russian CIWS takes out the incoming missiles ... hair-raising. The sound from the extreme high-cycle-rate on the Russian guns is impressive. Can't tell you how many times I've watched, and rewatched, that scene in the movie.

You confused the subs halfway thru. Tampa Bay was the one sunk in the beginning and the new hero sub is the uss Arkansas. After 10:48 you keep saying the Tampa Bay was moving thru the water.

There are so many wrong things whit this comment. First. the Seals will never under any circumstance give their position away. 2 Nobody would believe an internet video of that magnitude, (too far, can see their faces, etc.) 3 the repercussion of such an act, the general making the cue would certainly kill the president, (president is alive because no one knows he is in danger), i can go on, i hope this clears why is not a good idea to stream videos of certain events, its mite does more damage than good.

@@roao75 1. You forgot this is a movie and not reallife 2. We already have movies based on real events where Seals gave their position away :) 3. We have people that believe the earth is flat and angels are real, you would find plenty of people who would trust the video, just because you wouldnt, doesnt mean that nobody else would 4. The coup would fail, if the President is alive or not, because people would know and see what is going on, a coup only works if nobody knew who did it, otherwise obviously everyone will turn against that person I hope this clears why your opinion is merely your opinion and not automatically the correct truth

That is not how torpedoes are really guided… you can’t effectively use radio underwater which is why they use sonar.

Torpedoes are guided by a very fine wire trailing behind it still attached to the submarine that fired it.

@@nplus1watches35 I am sorry if I do am not sufficiently educated on the topic, but it seems that a thin wire under the tremendous weight of the ocean wouldn’t be attached for very long. Please make it clear if I am incorrect since I am not an expert on submarine guidance systems.

@@hasan1618 This is a cut-n-paste from the Seaforces site so take it for what it's worth: Mk-48 and Mk-48 ADCAP torpedoes can be guided from a submarine by wires attached to the torpedo. They can also use their own active or passive sensors to execute programmed target search, acquisition, and attack procedures. The torpedo is designed to detonate under the keel of a surface ship, breaking the ship's back and destroying its structural integrity. In the event of a miss, it can circle back for another attempt.

Before meeting the Babayega, Mr. Tarasov was a Russian General, whilst Cassian before being the right hand man on of the members of the high table he was working for the US Navy generals, and lastly we have Velma from Scooby Doo doing their undercover investigation. Seemed like a fun movie.

No submarine can survive implosion when below crush depth... This submarine in particular have great crush depth and the ocean floor must be above that level .. remember ocean floor are not flat and ocean depth not uniform.... Hope that helps
