U.S. Navy Special Operations Forces SELECTION TRAINING
00:10 Part 1: Alfa Phase
14:54 Part 2: The Tour
35:47 Part 3: Bravo and Charlie Phases
The SPECIAL WARFARE COMBAT CREWMAN (SWCC) is a United States Naval Special Warfare Command team that operates and maintains small craft for special operations missions, particularly those in support of the U.S. Navy SEALs. Navy SWCC support and perform maritime special operations in open ocean, littoral and riverine environments. Their professional occupation in the Navy is known as Special Warfare Boat Operator (SB). SBs are experts in maritime special operations tactics and missions; foreign cultural awareness; advanced weapons tactics; tactical communications; tactical air control; tactical ground mobility; small arms and crew-served weapons; fast roping and rappelling; advanced craft operations; long-range, over the horizon, and riverine navigation; tactical combat medicine and trauma care; intelligence operations; and chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear defense measures; among others.

So I was at Airborne School in August of 2012. We had a SWCC operator there, due to the running, heat, sweating, and the humidity guys were getting raw. By lunch time we were all raw and while waiting for lunch to end on the cables, some guys started talking about being so raw that they were going to quit. MS (SWCC Operator) turned to those guys and said, "You aren't raw until you wipe your asss after a sh!t, and red streaks are on the toilet paper. Just suck it up..." Stuck with me and 2.5 months later I was at a SFBCCX and being that it was also a PMT for a combat rotation, I keep in mind no matter the pain I was feeling, it could always be worse and just kept moving forward.

@@timothyjburton BIBLE calls us all to be real, sober minded souls, who live holy lives on earth. BIBLE calls nor expect nobody to be: - religious of any kind - monk - nun Bible calls us to give out RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT, no to keep our mouth shut and support everything with blind eyes and deaf ears. See no evil, speak no evil and hear no evil - that old saying, it belongs to masons, am I right again? The vow of silence of theirs. SOULS, dare to read and study BIBLE (KJV) and search about FREEMASONRY.

@@theharshtruthoutthere Have no clue what you are talking about, but seeing how I have a Bachelors Degree in Theology, I don’t really need to hear your thoughts on the meaning of religious. I also suggest you read something other than the KJV. It is a bad translation and proof is that they had to lie about the changes in the text, they counted every common, period, and semi-colon added as a change, but clearly that shouldn’t count, when you consider this the Koine didn’t have punctuation. Finally, am I to take serious a translation that use Erasmus’ translation serious when he literally translated it from the Latin Vulgate and then provided it to the English translators? I mean, I think KJV is beautifully poetic, but our knowledge of koine has expanded since then and it is why I suggest the NET Bible over the KJV for doctrinal study.

While stationed at Ft. Hood, an SF recruiter came to the post. I went and a couple days later took the PT test. Everything was great and at that time the unit couldn’t stop a soldier from attending. Then Iraq invaded Kuwait and we were deployed. While there, I kept hitting the PT hard and ruck marching. We returned and my CO had me write up a training schedule for SFAS prep. It was approved and I trained for three mo this straight. All night I would ruck out on the tank trails. Return in time for PT (that was the only requirement…be at the first formation of the day). I would do PT with the company in BDU’s, boots and my ruck. Gym after PT and chow…they gave me several cases of MRE’s and I ate one, maybe two per day. Take a nooner and to the pool and gym again. Ruck all night long and rinse and repeat. I made it through the “gate” at SFAS and was selected. I was already Airborne qualified as it was in my contract when I switched from the Navy (STG2) to the Army. Got to “Q” course and about two months in I blew my left ACL. That was it…the only reason I wanted in the Army was the beret and be on a team. Sent to Campbell for orthopedic surgery and never went back and am still dealing with that injury at 61 years old. SFAS and Camp Mackall were the best test of a my mental abilities and physical. No yelling at us and was always asked: “are you satisfied with that #243”? Hoooooah to those that made it all the way! 🫡👍

For folks asking about this particular group these military personnel are trying out for SWCC which stands for Special Warfare Combatant-craft & Crewmen. Think of it as the group of dedicated individuals who arrive or depart in specific fast boats that are heavily armed and are designed for inserting or rapid egress of Navy Seals or other Spec Ops units. It may not be the same training as SEALs but these guys go through very different yet similar challenging drills. Just like there’s the 160th SOAR, SWCC is the amphibious version (I must add that is a gross over simplification of what these SWCC operators do). On time, on target, never quit! See the following link if you want to know more about SWCC. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i9B4pZt7zZO5doU.html

@@sweat3500, I was a vehicle M240B machine gunner with 2/2 1st ID (Feb '04 to Feb '05) for Muqdadiyah, Baqubah, Najaf, and the Battle of Fallujah (7-21 Nov 2004). I got burns outside Najaf (Apr 2004) and 28 chunks of shrapnel in my face, neck, and arms in Baghdad (1 June 2004). Spent 8 days in the Balad (Anaconda) CASH, and returned to duty with a left arm still leaking into bandages. The years of plywood and scrapyard "vehicle armor", before we had add-on armor kits for every vehicle outside the wire. (I was the dude who started taking Iraqi T-72 tank aluminum track sideskirts off the boneyard Iraqi tanks and using them for the gun boxes on trucks and humvee beds. They were centimeter-thick aluminum, enough to stop a lot of shell frags and AK rounds, at least at an angle.) One of my best friends was gay. I wasn't. No one cared. He was an outstanding soldier, and -- like any true professional -- never made anyone uncomfortable. (It was the hetero male soldiers harassing or imposing on the female soldiers that cause the real problems.) Yes, my YT profile is of a little kid. One of my kids, who used to borrow my phone before she got one and made the YT profile her own. I give precisely zero fox about that. No real professional cares about someones private off-duty life. One of the appeals of military service is the pure meritocracy, where it doesn't matter who your parents are, how much money they had or didn't have, or any of that. All that matters is how you perform, and how you *cooperate* and *help others*. Private off-duty life is irrelevant, regardless of what the vlogs and opinion-news says. The real dusruptions to a military unit (or private corporation) are the people who don't carry their weight, who are antisocial and selfish and don't cooperate and help those around them become better, who are bullies or thieves, and all that. I have a feeling few of the TV and vlog "opinion news" guys who lead you to believe gayness and CRT will destroy the military, ever actually fought alongside gays, female medics, and nonwhite soldiers in actual combat. To put it a little less delicately, those people who say that stuff don't know what they're talking about. They're talking out their butt. Gays have *always* been in the military... Serving a country that hated (hates?) them.

My section corporal applied for SAS selection in the 1980s. He was attending the summer selection, and for months I trained with him, running around the barracks building weight in the bergens as the days progressed. He was already superfit, and many a time I found myself lagging behind, him with a bergen and me in trainers and no bergen. Off he went on selection, first week running on the Brecon Beacons and he found it hard going. Second week second day, he was in bits head all over the place, aches and pains. He said there was lads running past who looked like they were on holiday not even breaking into a sweat. And later that day he slipped on the hills and fractured his leg. End of selection. He never took up the offer of attending another selection and said he didn't have the mentality to pass.
