WOW ! great work. Somtimes I do all that inside rigging first not following the directions so I can tie down on those pins. You are a master builder just great work.

You have built some absolutely amazing models but I have to be honest this might be your best masterpiece yet! So inspirational in so many ways your persistence to see it to the end is just incredible and the result shows all the talent and work. The USS constitution will always be my favorite sail ship and yeah we may say we would like to take an old car for a spin but honestly I would much rather go for a cruise on this one!

I use metal mosquito net on my house, because my cats like to scratch it and tear it, now they can't do that! It is unbelievable that the constitution is finished! 5 years long build.... Simply wow! It would drive me crazy! Absolutely wonderful job done on every aspect Charlie! Cudos to you for this build, i would never even attempt something like that! You are a true modeler with brass b@lls brother!

Outstanding! I built that very model when I was in the USAF at Upper Heyford UK. They use to do dorm inspections and they always showed my room to show off the Constitution I made. When I left in 1994 I donated it to the Officers Club and the base has since shut down and turned over to the Brits, I wonder where it is now. I'm inspired to build another one and the Hellers HMS Victory ( what's wrong with me! ). I also had the Revells Cutty Sark and the Thermopylae but didn't build them. I gave those kits away when I returned to the States. When I was in the UK I was lucky and got to see the HMS Victory, words just can't describe its beauty, just magnificent!

The U.S.S Constitution is the sister ship to the Cutty Sark, I'll be doing the 1/94 Cutty Sark, My dad did the 1/82 CS years ago and he said there was a 1/4 mile of rigging on his, Looks awesome buddy, keep up the great work sir.

Hey Charlie, that looks amazing, really came out nice, a build you can be super proud of. Most modelers would not even attempt to do that build. I never completed all of the rigging on mine, no one ever noticed. I love that dry-dock looking base, did you build that? Really looking forward to seeing the case you put it in, that was one thing I wish I had, I'd probably still have it if it was in a case. I came across the little booklet that came with mine, the history of Old Ironsides, the only thing I have left of the original kit. One day I'd like to go see the real one and actually walk on the deck. Bucket list item... Congratulations on completing it, that's a big build and I know the feeling.
