Important to remember this is the Luna 2 class. The Luna class is a Kirk era ship. It would make finding the specs easier.

The Sovereign Class was designed to fight the Borg and uses Type XII phaser arrays like the Prometheus Class these phaser arrays are the ones used on star bases and require a very large power supply. The Luna Class was designed to get the Federation back into long range exploration in the Beta quadrant and away from combat, it has enough defenses to survive long enough to escape to a safe distance and repair. I found these specs for comparison. Exactly. The Sovereign outclasses the Luna in every spec. So why is it so easily defeated here?

I've never played this game but it looks like the AI is fucked up, it only has the Sovereign fire phasers a few times and just one array at a time. This was supposed to be the refit Sovereign so it should have actually had 16 Type XII phaser arrays and additional torpedo tubes, the AI also never fired quantum torpedoes only photons. I also did not see any attempt by the AI to restore shields or do any repairs. The Enterprise E held its own against the Reman Scimitar and pretty much had to beat it on its own those new Romulan Warbirds are pussies they lasted like two minutes in combat. In a real fight the Enterprise E would fire multiple phasers and take down the Titan's shields in one or two volleys followed by a shit load of quantum torpedoes from the omni-directional quantum torpedo launcher it doesn't matter where the Titan is after the phasers take down the shields it is fucked. The Enterprise E kept it shields up for awhile against the Scimitar which has 52 disruptor banks and 38 photon torpedo tubes, the Titan's weapons couldn't even scratch the Enterprise E's shields before being turned into a fireball.

It was on hold for a while as there was an acindent then mamaed the chef Engineer. In the real wold it was a competition winner,the guy that was ment to crate it truned traitor to star trek and whent to battlestar. Anyways the real world a strat trek reasons lol.

@@cbva06 Your Luna 2 specs are incomplete and flat out wrong in some stats.

The Luna class isn't more powerful than the Sovereign class cause it's outdated by about 100 years. However the Luna 2 class that Titan is, is the most advanced ship the Federation makes currently. It thrashes the Sovereign class largely due to the fact that it MUST survive in seep space far from Federation space without any support or possibility of reinforcements. This also why the Federation didn't recall the Titan then Borg came through the Trans space conduits. It unfortunately was the only ship of it's class that was completed when the Borg attacked. Now there are around a dozen including the Titan that are all operating deep in Beta Quadrant where no Alpha or Gamma faction have any presence. Trust me when I say these ship are far more advanced than their predecessors that someone posted the stats for in these comments. Problem is the Luna 2 class is still really new and will only be making it's first appearance on screen in upcoming Picard episode. Hopefully Paramount will make the specs more readily available after.

Keep in mind that 85-90% of shield capacity is a triple layer of shielding not the standard one that the Sovereign uses. All three layers having different frequencies to keep a single shot from damaging the hull. Plus the Ablative hull armor the Sovereign, Akira and Prometheus class ships have. Ultimately it would come down to the Sovereign using it's superior size to ram it to achieve victory and that's still not a guarantee that it will penetrate all three layers of shielding and the armor before the Sovereign starts to break apart. The Luna also carries 8 Hellfire torpedoes. These torpedoes are exclusive to the Luna 2 and are designed to ignite the shields of any ship it hits to turn the shields against it's hull effectively melting the hull under the intense heat. The idea behind the torpedoes is so it can it can go into warp if it gets into trouble without fear of pursuit. If you're wondering why a long range explorer class is so advanced it's simple: it's expected to survive in deep space far from Federation space without any support or possibility of getting reinforcements. It MUST survive on its own. Plus it doesn't help that none of the Alpha or Gamma factions have any presence in the Beta Quadrant so if the Titan or another Luna 2 does into trouble it's pretty screwed. So again it has to be that advanced period.

the Luna class looks like someone saw an Makita class one time a couple years ago and tried to draw it from memory...badly.

Custom battle AI is by default set to Easy with no settings to change it. Not much I can do.

It's not the ships in the mod per se, but the fact that in the custom battles, the hostile AI is always set to easy, and I can't change it.
