On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska joined NAS President Marcia McNutt and other dignitaries at a conference held at the National Academy of Sciences to examine the impact of the war in Ukraine on its education institutions and explore how to strengthen U.S. and Ukraine partnerships in education and science. The conference was hosted by the Ukrainian Embassy in the U.S. and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
