This is a gospel song. I have loved it forever and listened to it thousands of times. I heard the words but didn't listen. I found out like 5 yrs. ago that it's not a love song. The lyrics "You broke the bonds and you loosed the chains. Carried the cross of my shame of my shame...you know I believe it. I believe in the kingdom come when all the colors bleed into one". Bono is writing of his searching for a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Check out U2 playing Where the Streets have no name on a rooftop in downtown LA and causing gridlock. The Cops turned up and they weren't happy!

This one. It's the official music video and gives credence to the coined term 'rock star'... But you'll love the song and the historical moment of 'Where the streets have no name' in downtown LA.

To me this Powerful Anthem is an "ode" to/for the many, in an unending quest for...Love..?, Happiness...? Peace of Mind.. whatever...? It strikes a chord somewhere deep inside so many, relentlessly searching for the indefinable "something more", whilst ignoring what they already have...!

When this video was made, U2 was pretty much the biggest underground band in the world. They could go on the strip and do this with real people. 1 year later. Probably not possible.

I could’ve sworn I’ve heard this in a movie before I always respected U2 not a fan but they’re kinda like Coldplay for me always respected the talent and might’ve heard songs of there’s here and there but just never gravitated to there type of music definitely great talent tho that’s obvious🤘🏽🎯💯(Great Reaction as always and I’m still excited for more MJ reactions in the future!)

Takes a few U2 songs to get into them sometimes... the poetical lyrics, the gritty Bonovox vocals and the unique rock instrumentals become gold once it clicks. Try at least a few more songs for sure.

“Where the Streets Have No Name” is a must but I think you should do the album version and not the official video. “One”, “I Will Follow”, “New Years Day”, “Walk On” are a few suggestions.

I love U2. But I wish people would do reaction videos to other songs rather than the very basics. They have a wealth of music. Try MOFO. Try some stuff from Pop, Zooropa, Achtung Baby. All people react to on KZfaq is this song, One and Pride. And even as a huge U2 these songs are dull.
