To all of you who still has the opportunity to call someone "Dad"... go and do it now. I have never had the chance to call someone Dad. You need someone to ask for whatever... Do not miss your chance, do not regret later. Now is the time, especially with all that is happening around.

Anytime I hear anyone slag off U2 or Bono for any reason this performance plays in my head and I shake my head in shame for that person...

Could very easily be considered one of their greatest live performances ever

This performance is AH-MAZING and Bono singing in Italian is so badass!
@functionalist2 жыл бұрын
The instrumentals are first rate. Bono misses some of the highs of the album version's vocals, though. On the other hand, kudos to them for not using a backing track like in some of their performances. The audience always ought to get the real deal.

This is such an accurate description of a complex relationsship between parent and child. The delivery is chill inducing. I was lucky enough to see them in 2006. I know people like to make fun of U2, but its still the best concert of my life.

The Edge is such a pro at live sound
@kristophercantu9935 Жыл бұрын
That Shimmering Edge sound is just digital delay Pedals. He uses his feet to work the set sound. He's not really doing much, but yes it, sounds incredible, Those sounds made U2 what they are. Been my favorite band since the early 80s. People can relate personally to almost every song.

@@kristophercantu9935 I said among the greatest singers of all time, Steve Perry could be a better singer than Bono, but sorry his band are way irrelevant compared to Bono's band U2.

(@@LucasLima-ov4mq ) U2 has been my favorite band since the 80s, no doubt about it. The band is definitely damaged, injection politics into everything. Nobody wants to hear that BS, its ridiculous. Away from that, best band of all time.

You could tell the crowd really felt his emotion when he started the "you're the reason i sing, you're the reason the opera is in me" because everyone just stood, motionless, looking at him. I love when he puts his raw emotion into songs. He really lets his vocals come through, and it gives me chills.

One of my favorite U2 2 Songs❤A big Thank you to my Dad who made it possible for me to go to the concert at the time, he took care of my kids, I miss you so much Dad💔
@Luis-mg5kc7 жыл бұрын
This song is for my father Julian who loves the Opera and he has a tenor voice. When I was a child I hated hearing him sing, but now I miss his loud deep tones and those beautiful Spanish songs he use to sing, unfortunately he can not sing anymore because he has Parkinson's disease he is 82 a very proud and humble man, an immigrant from Spain. He came to Australia in the early 60s, did not know a word of English he arrived alone, worked hard all his life to provide for his family, he is a huge inspiration to me and always will be. When I hear this song it always reminds me of my papa and I often have a tear or two whilst listening to it

Tough You think you've got the stuff You're telling me and anyone You're hard enough You don't have to put up a fight You don't have to always be right Let me take some of the punches For you tonight Listen to me now I need to let you know You don't have to go it alone And it's you when I look in the mirror And it's you when I don't pick up the phone Sometimes you can't make it on your own We fight all the time You and I, that's alright We're the same soul I don't need, I don't need to hear you say That if we weren't so alike You'd like me a whole lot more Listen to me now I need to let you know You don't have to go it alone And it's you when I look in the mirror And it's you when I don't pick up the phone Sometimes you can't make it on your own I know that we don't talk I'm sick of it all Can you hear me when I sing? You're the reason I sing You're the reason why the opera is in me Hey now Still got to let you know A house doesn't make a home Don't leave me here alone And it's you when I look in the mirror And it's you that makes it hard to let go Sometimes you can't make it on your own Sometimes you can't make it Best you can do, is to fake it Sometimes you can't make it on your own

That's what i affectionately call "pour out emotions thoroughly" everyone played their part so flawlessly and Bono my my we all know how good he sings. his somewhere between the epitome of rock n roll vocalist Sir Mick Jagger's voice ,the falsetto-ish😁 of Bon iver,as emotional as Layne Staley and a power voice that can outsing any soul,rnb singers.More than these sublime qualities of Bono,what impressed me most was his sincerity.They have reached the pinacle of success few are able to achieved in not only entertainment but popular culture as a whole and yet ive never seen him unsinsere and uncommitted in his live performance.i damn well don't see over the top mentality like idont give a fck im famous attitude which we've seen displayed over and over by many so called celebs popculture icons.He stay true to the music and perform like its his last for so many years.not only him but also his bandmates.some seem to overlook their lyrical ability which is a heinous crime 🤐

Porque eu eu lutei por essa existência. 27 dias depois, Bono cantou Elevation olhando em meus olhos. E hoje, meu maior propósito, é ver novamente Bono cantando olhando e meus olhos. Obrigado por essa Canção da Experiência.
